  Katie is seriously the best!

  I cannot speak highly enough about Katie! She was one of the first vendors we booked, and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is extremely professional, organized and thorough. She's also very personable, friendly, and fun to be around. On top of being an amazing photographer, she is also a great resource for general wedding advice. She was so helpful throughout the whole planning process and genuinely cares about making sure your vision comes to life.
  
  She has a special talent for capturing candid moments in such a beautiful way. When I look through our wedding gallery, I can feel all of the emotions I felt on that day. Do not hesitate to book Katie! She will absolutely blow you away.

  Katie is the best!

  When we first met with Katie for our engagement shoot, we loved her immediately, and our pictures turned out amazing! On the big day, she captured EVERYTHING, and edited them so beautifully! I seriously wouldn't change a thing. My husband and I continue to receive compliments from friends and family about how beautiful our photos are. Book her, now!

  Katie is a Master at Her Craft

  We hired Katie to photograph our wedding after seeing some of her work and reading that she specializes in more organic, candid photos. Neither my husband nor myself are particularly comfortable posing for the camera, so we really wanted a photographer who could highlight our personalities naturally. Well, Katie did an AMAZING job. I never could have imagined we would have such beautiful, timeless photos of our day. My sister described them as "heirloom quality" and that's what they are—something you can imagine sharing with your children one day, with so many emotions and memories beautifully captured that it would feel like you were there. They are so, so special. I would hire Katie again in a heartbeat. She is so confident and knowledgeable in what she does, easy to work with, and overall just a wonderful human. We absolutely loved working with her. Thank you Katie!

  We love Katie!!

  Katie is the ABSOLUTE BEST! After seeing her in action at my BFFs wedding in 2019 I knew that I wanted her to shoot my wedding. She stuck with me after year-long postponement (thanks, 2020), and finally shot my wedding in November 2021. She was so on it as soon as she arrived to my venue and immediately started taking details and getting-ready shots. Family + wedding party photos were seamless, quick and turned out beautiful. She had only ever been to our venue (which was HUGE) once before, but had such a vision for our couple shots and directed us from place to place quickly to ensure that we weren't away from our guests for too long. I could not recommend her highly enough - such a dream to work with and she made my husband and I feel like supermodels the entire day!

  Hire Katie, she's an absolute gem

  Working with Katie was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Not only is she great at what she does, but she's truly a pleasure to work with—experienced, responsive, and extremely down-to-earth. She's a true partner and made us feel at ease every step of the way. My husband and I tend to be a little camera-shy, so when the wedding day came, Katie was the approachable expert we needed to make us look and feel our best. We absolutely adore the photos from our wedding—they capture the joy and authenticity of the day in a way that we'll cherish forever.

  Best photographer ever!!

  I cannot recommend Katie enough!! We booked both our wedding and engagement photos with her and she was a dream to work with both times. I even told my husband we have to get photos done every year now with her because I just love how they come out!! Every single person we showed our engagement photos to was blown away so we had high hopes for our wedding photos. Of course, Katie blew those expectations out of the water and they were somehow even more incredible.
  
  In regards to our wedding, we had a mishap with our wedding planner that resulted in me having to plan the entire thing myself in 5 days and Katie definitely helped to ease the stress. She was prompt with all communication, helped to structure our day, and even gave us recommendations with planning since I had no idea where to start. The day of, she was incredibly helpful and our guests even told us how much they loved our photographer! Katie is so down to earth and easy going. She had our photos back to us SO QUICK and they were absolutely beautiful. She captured everyone’s emotions in the photos and it was seriously like she could see exactly what I had envisioned for our wedding and made it happen. If you are on the fence at all or deciding between photographers, PICK KATIE!

  Our photos are beautiful!

  We hired to Katie for our wedding photos, engagement sessions and later added on graduation photos. Everything she took and edited turned out beautiful and we are so happy we went with her. She's got an adventurous spirit while also being strategic about what will make for good lighting and poses. She was easy going and organized on our wedding day and worked easily with our videographer whom she had never met before. The other thing I think Katie could slightly improve on would be her location scouting and knowledge of more spots in NorCal -- I know this will definitely come soon though and not a problem if you are someone who has specific plans for your engagement shoot. Overall we would really recommend Katie and felt like she is such a value for the high level of service she provided!

  Amazing photos!

  Katie was a DREAM to work with! Leaving up to the big day, she was so helpful and responsive to all my questions and requests. She had everything organized, making sure that all details were covered. On the day of, Katie was very professional and was able to take the lead to make sure we got all the shots in a timely manner so we could get back to our guests. My photos turned out AMAZING!!! I love how natural and timeless they turned out. I would recommend Katie 10/10 times.

  If you are looking for an amazingly talented photographer in NorCal Katie is your girl!! 2020 sucked and I'm pretty sure I re-planned our wedding 4 times, Katie was there every step and SO helpful and willing to go with the flow of new venues/timelines and so on. She's beyond talented and our photos turned out beautiful and we share them with our family every chance we get! 2020 may not have been the year we planned but Katie helped us get photos that will last a lifetime!

  Katie and Olivia were AMAZING throughout the engagement and wedding process. Katie is an editing speed machine and truly captures genuine, candid moments to perfectly remember your special day.   AMAZING in every way

  Katie is an amazing photographer! Not only that, but she also takes the time to really get to know you and make you comfortable during shoots. She has a lot of experience and it shows when she meticulously directs you and makes sure you look perfect before snapping! During the engagement shoot, she helped me and fiancé relax and get all our giggles out. During the wedding she made sure to capture those special moments that i thought only my fiancé and i shared! I loved her and her second shooter's company! Book them! They are professional and make you feel like close friends. I highly recommend them both! They will not disappoint.

  Katie is the best!

  I was having trouble finding a photographer whose aesthetic matched my vision (and price point). I wanted warm, natural photos with that sunset glow and after spending hours on the internet I stumbled on Katie's website and instantly new she was THE ONE! She and her assistant were monumental in making the whole day go smoothy -- at times we didn't even know she was there snapping away. I'm SO SO happy with my wedding photos and I kinda wish I had another event just so I could hire her again!

  I was having trouble finding a photographer whose aesthetic matched my vision (and price point). I wanted warm, natural photos with that sunset glow and after spending hours on the internet I stumbled on Katie's website and instantly new she was THE ONE! She was able to turn an otherwise pretty dried out California backdrop into a picture perfect fall meadow shoot. I knew she would do even better with my wedding.   Dream photographer!

  Katie is an absolutely amazing photographer! During my husband and I's engagement shoot the lighting wasn't great in the location we had originally picked, so she suggested moving to another spot. We trusted her vision and I'm glad we did because we loved the way our photos came out. On top of all that our wedding day photos came out great. We'll cherish them forever!

Katie was extremely professional going over the contract with us and discussing our plans. Katie arrived early for both shoot days, and her second shooter for our wedding was just as professional and friendly with us and our wedding party. She kept us on track and captured our special day beautifully."

  Wonderful Photographer!

  Once I got engaged, the first thing I was so excited for was choosing a photographer! I’ve always loved photography and had a very specific type that I liked. I love a rustic, warm feeling and Katie expressed that in her photos. She is professional but yet easy to be friends with! She makes you feel comfortable. Katie is also very open to hearing you out and will do what she can to capture moments that you want, that is something that I appreciated. She is understanding when things don’t go the way planned and still manages to stick it out and make the best of the situation. Thank you Katie for capturing the moments that made mine and Steven’s wedding perfect

  Not Professional, Probably a good photographer

  We booked Katie for our 4/4/2020 wedding of a friend's recommendation. She was not very responsive by email as she was traveling a lot at the time. We had to cancel our 4/4/2020 wedding and had paid our final vender dues including our photographer. It sucked for everyone. We originally postponed for 7/4/2020 (eventually re-postponed to 5/1/2021) and Katie was not availably on this date. She offered to have a newbie photographer friend of hers take her place on a discount although she would keep 50%, including the non-refundable deposit, of what we paid her (not a small amount) or she would keep 50% and we could find a new photographer. All in all, we paid thousands for bad correspondence and not a single photo was taken.

  Hi Daniel & Sam, I'm sorry to hear you weren't happy with my correspondence. I put my heart and soul into all of my client interactions & I do my best to provide the highest level of service to the brides and grooms I have the opportunity of working with. 2020 was a hard year for everyone in the wedding industry, especially back in April before anyone really knew what kind of impact the pandemic would have on our livelihoods. I did my best to offer different options for you guys once you decided to reschedule your date, but per my contract I was unable to refund you the non-refundable retainer. The contract is there to protect us both if any discrepancies arise, but I am truly sorry that it didn't turn out the way we both would have liked.
  
  The photographer that I had offered to shoot the wedding in place of me is my go-to second shooter, assistant, and associate photographer. She's been working with me for over 2 years now and has shot countless weddings in my place when I wasn't available. I definitely do understand why you would have preferred to have me shoot your wedding instead of her, but this was my attempt to do anything and everything possible to accommodate you, so you wouldn't have to lose your deposit.
  
  Again I am truly sorry that you were unhappy with our interactions, but I do wish you both the best & hope you have a lovely wedding this May!
