Katie is such a talented wedding photographer! I may be slightly biased because she is also a personal friend, but Katie's work speaks for itself. We love her bright, classic photography style and knew we wanted to book her as soon as we got engaged. Katie is professional and was super helpful throughout the entire process. My husband and I don't generally like having our picture taken, and she did a great job giving us direction and making us feel comfortable. Katie is so talented. Her pictures are spectacular. She edits them beautifully and makes them look natural and elegant. She is also a dream to work with. She was so nice during my wedding and even afterwards. I had a few questions regarding my photos and she responded almost immediately and fixed the problem. Wouldn't recommend anyone else. We have never worked with a photographer before and my husband was a little weary about it at first but by the time we got rolling with our engagement photos we were both perfectly comfortable in front of the camera thanks to Katie. She’s extremely professional and personable and she got every shot I asked for. To top it all off I had our full gallery within two weeks and we can’t stop looking at the gorgeous pictures Katie captured!

When it came to choosing a wedding photographer I was so indecisive, I spent months going back and forth and was so nervous to pick the wrong one. But when I found Katie it was a no brainer! After talking to her on the phone I felt an instant connection and the next day told her I wanted her to be my photographer! She was amazing throughout the entire process, she made sure that everything I wanted or envisioned came true. On the day of the wedding she helped make sure everything ran smoothly and even when I would get stressed she made sure everything worked perfectly. Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough to say how amazing Katie is! We currently live in Florida and she made everything a breeze. She suggested things I never thought to ask and made sure I wasn't forgetting any major details. Easy to say, communication is on point. The day of the wedding she definitely goes above and beyond expectations! The AC had broken in our room my bridesmaids and I were getting ready in, and Katie was to the rescue! Her and her assistant for the day, Emily made sure we were all comfortable and had everything we needed. We received our pictures quickly as promised and I am in LOVE with each of them. Katie was beyond amazing!!! She was not only professional but she made my day so relaxing and stress free. I have to share something that probably few if any photographers have ever done - when we left the salon Katie was following me in her vehicle to the location where the ladies were going to finish getting dressed. I had to stop along the way and get gas in the car. Katie pulled off behind me at the gas station. I went in to pay for my gas. When I came out she was standing outside my car. She pumped my gas for me! I was so humbled. I felt so cared about, so important, and so valuable! Our pictures were more than I could have ever imagined. I would recommend her a thousand times over. She drove from Virginia to Kentucky not once but twice - once to do our engagement session and then again for our wedding. There is no one else I could have imagined using for our wedding.

I found Katie Gallagher on Wedding Wire and I'm so happy she was able to photograph our big day! The lighting and the way colors pop in her photos really stood out to me. Katie was wonderful to work with. She is so sweet and easy to talk to. My husband and I felt very comfortable infront of the camera with her. Katie was unbelievably awesome as our photographer!!! We wanted to have a ton of beautiful photos without paying an exorbitant amount, and this is exactly what we got. We did a photo shoot basically all day the before the wedding and even took photos after the wedding, and Katie was extraordinarily patient, kind, friendly and professional. We basically dragged her around for two days, and she always had a wonderful attitude and never complained once. She also covered our rehearsal dinner after the day-before photo shoot. She was unbelievably friendly to us, to our family and to all of our guests, several of which made a point to tell us how much they enjoyed meeting her and how wonderful she was. She made sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable all while being very efficient with the photo shooting. She is very knowledgeable about weddings and will work with you to develop a sensible timeline based on your needs. This was especially helpful for us, since we didn't know too much going in. Her assistant Emily was also extremely friendly and helpful on the wedding day.

She worked and interacted with the venue and other vendors effortlessly and never bothered us with unnecessary details. In fact, quite to the contrary, she went above and beyond her scope of responsibility several times to make sure everything went smoothly for us.

The photos themselves are bright and beautiful, without being too overprocessed, which is refreshing. She is especially great at capturing natural beauty in the background and making the most of natural sunlight. The value is also really great, based on what I saw comparing other photographers' quotes in the area. I definitely recommend hiring Katie if you want an exceptional wedding photography experience!
