Kathryn Smith was fantastic to work with. She had great taste and was very up front and honest about pricing, making recommendations, giving budgeting ideas, etc. After one meeting with her and showing her sample photos, we did not need to have much contact before the big day. She was professional and sweet and was a joy to work with!

I loved my flowers!!! I did not see them ahead of time, everything was coordinated through my mom. So, when Kathryn came in on my wedding day to give us the flowers I was in heaven - they beautiful and exactly what I wanted. We kept everything very simple, and Kathryn never made us feel like we weren't doing enough and she did not try to upsell us, which we were very appreciative of. She just wanted to make us happy and she did. She was a pleasure to work with, I would highly recommend her.

Kathryn Smith is absolutely the BEST! Her taste is impeccable and you will not be disappointed by her work. She is the exclusive florist at Clint Eastwood's property - Mission Ranch, and for good reason. She just has an eye for what looks good and can take even the vaguest ideas and make them beautiful.
I absolutely loved working with Kathryn. She is a true business woman with not only keen business savvy, but a down to earth personality yet this incredible talent for the creative. Even with her incredible reputation, her prices are competitive with other florists in the area. I met with 2 other florists, one of which blew me off for my small budget and the other that was just not as good as Kathryn, but had the same prices. Even with Kathryn's high demand work, she never made me feel badly about my small-ist flower order, in fact, she really made me feel like my wedding was special.
On the day of the wedding she arrived early and all of the flowers were incredible. In fact, as a little surprise, she included some blush pink roses in my bouquet - my favorite color! I really felt as if she was thinking of me when making my bouquet.
I really didn't have specific flower tastes, I just wanted it to look pretty in my color scheme and I couldn't have been happier with the result. In fact, I would recommend not being too rigid with your flower requests because I think probably her best work is when she's given the license to be a little creative.
I should mention that Kathryn does take a tiny bit longer to respond on email (she works in Carmel, but lives in Scotts Valley), but don't let this deter you... she is well worth the wait!
When I look at pictures of our flowers, it just makes me smile... I really wish they lasted forever, because they were so beautiful and Kathryn was a dream to work with. This is truly a vendor you can book and then relax about... she is fabulous!
