WE LOVE KAT!
We want to let everyone know that they should get her as their wedding/engagement/bridal/family/ANYTHING photographer. Our wedding day wasn't the easiest to photograph (we had a huge group and it was a REALLY rainy day), but Kat was able to capture everything we had hoped for perfectly and even went above and beyond to make sure we got more couple pictures at our reception once the storm blew over! We were very impressed not only her skill and artistic-ness, but also her professionalism in directing us and giving us suggestions on how to pose naturally. She's not afraid to speak up and and command a larger crowd of our family and bridal party to get many wonderful pictures quickly. Yet, Kat is able to do this in a way that doesn't come across bossy or extreme, but friendly and helpful. She's so considerate of the stress that the bride and groom (and family) are under, and does everything that she can to help - even beyond taking pictures. She was at our reception well before it even started and got some great pictures of the venue and details as we were setting up. We love looking back on our wedding photos and seeing all the candid shots of our reception - dance party, dinner, talking with guests, etc... We are so grateful to have made the decision to go with Kat as our photographer! We are glad to have her as a friend and can't wait to work with her and even just hang out more in the future! Get Kat as your photographer if you want a friend, but also someone who will go above and beyond in getting the job done!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE working with Kat! Her work is amazing and she is super friendly (all of my guest, mentioned that to me as well about how friendly she is). She goes out of her ways to make sure you get the best photos possible. She even risked her own life during my engagement photo shoot - just to make the photos that even more real. My husband and I were on a motorcycle, and she was in the car (my cousin driving) with her head sticking out the window (my other cousin, holding on to her from inside the car). She is just sooo great. Don't hesitate to hire her as your photographer, you will not regret it! She is also soo quick at responding, she even gave me her cell phone where I could get a hold of her at all hours. I will be definitely using her again in the future!

Hire her. Seriously. I spent so many hours exploring the far corners of the internet to find the perfect photographer, and Kat is it. Her eye for composition and her use of light, color, and tone is exceptional. She has a huge heart for her clients. Kat doesn't just take photos, she captures moments.

When we originally found Kat, our wedding date was on the line due to a family crisis. Rather than disappearing (or worse, nagging us about finalizing a date), Kat stood by and waited until we had everything figured out. In the meantime, she answered our many questions, calmed our nerves, and just generally supported us.

We had Kat do our engagement photos the day before the wedding (I know, bonkers). My husband is shy, but Kat and Loren really eased both of our nerves and made us feel like we had all been friends for years. She even used film when we didn't even know she was shooting—and the results were spectacular. Can you tell I worship her?

We only had 45 guests, so I wanted some shots of the entire group (as well as several million iterations). She wrangled the group quickly, but never once came off as impatient or bossy. We got the perfect group shot: You can see everyone's face, no one is blinking, and we all look totally glamorous.

We didn’t have any dancing, but my husband and I still wanted to have that "first dance" moment. I mentioned this to Kat maybe once during the course of our planning and had almost forgot about it entirely in the chaos of the day. But leave it to Kat to remember everything—and to make it 10 times better than you imagine. She had scouted around the building and found a spot where we would not only have a moment to ourselves, but where the sun was starting to set over the palm trees lining the brick buildings. It was downright magical.

Kat went above and beyond. She made everything just that much more special for us. And we have the photos to prove it.

We truly pleased with Kat. She made our wedding day go smooth and put us at ease right away especially my shy husband. She was always around and never in the way. Kat has bright and cheerful personality which helps to get a smile out of the guests as well.
We are very happy with our pictures. I can describe her style as airy, bright, and breezy and will consider her to shoot my maternity pictures pretty soon :-)

I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with A Twist of Lemon Photography. Kat is down-to-earth, outgoing, and extremely talented. She was so easy and fun to work with- you can tell she loves what she does! Her work is stunning and speaks for itself. Overall, I was so pleased with my experience from start to finish. She is highly recommended not only for her gorgeous images but also because she's a blast to work with!

We absolutely LOVED working with Kat. She was professional, friendly, easy to work with and the pictures were everything we wanted and more! A Twist of Lemon Photograph; 5 out of 5, for sure! Our photographer was "professional" in every sense of the word. And our particular wedding provided several unique challenges. She handled them all with poise, confidence, and a positive attitude. (Such as never meeting us until the morning of the wedding [the reason for that was on my husband and I], or changing locations for the wedding a month before the big day {again...guilty as charged], special requests, and lots more...)

My husband and I have talked about our photographer many times since were were married almost nine months ago. We both feel that our photographer in many ways made our wedding day. Things didn't perfectly go as planned throughout the day, but our photographer was able to make every situation a positive one for us and our family and friends. My husband is a stickler when it comes to money, but he has told me that as he looks back on our wedding day, he feels that our photographer was one of the best "purchases" we made. I totally agree. I have a lot of respect for this photographer.

What is more, is that I looked at the prices of several different photographers. I can tell you right now that you are looking at an extremely high value when it comes to this photographer. I know that's GOTTA be correct because my husband (the stickler) has also told me so, haha. Our pictures are just beautiful! This photographer is worth at least a few minutes of your consideration if you haven't decided on one yet.

I highly, highly recommend Kat as a photographer. She did such a phenomenal job on our photos, but was also so flexible, kind, fun, and she even brought us hot chocolate to one of our colder shoots! She is the best!! I was so pleased with the way everything turned out.

A Twist of Lemon Photography was nothing short of spectacular. Kat listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond our expectations. She gracefully captured all the wonderful moments of getting ready for the wedding, the ceremony, reception, and the after party. We had a large request as we celebrated our marriage twice, back to back weekends in different states. Kat rose to the challenge, shooting both weekends events energetic and cheerful as ever. There is no better feeling in the world to know that all the memories and magic of this special time have been captured for you to remember and share forever. Kat is amazing!! She's great with kids and really knows how to get them laughing and smiling. She was very sensitive of tense family situations ahead of time. She sent me a pre-wedding questionnaire that included MANY important questions. She asked if any certain people shouldn't be placed together, if there were any special relations I had that I wanted extra pictures with, etc. I'm a child from a broken home and it was SO nice not having to stress about awkward picture situations. Also, my grandmother and I are extremely close and as she's 81, her health is going downhill quickly. Now six months after the wedding, those pictures Kat captured with her are priceless to me.. It was extremely windy at the Draper temple, but somehow all of the pictures turned out fabulous. I adore them all and would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
