Kate Rogers has played for hundreds of weddings, and enjoys providing elegant music for special occasions. A graduate of the esteemed Curtis Institute of Music, Ms. Rogers has been the recipient of many awards including first place in the National Symphony Young Soloists Competition, first place in the Anne Adams Awards and first place in the Loeb Competition. Ms. Rogers has performed at many venues throughout the Washington D.C. area and has been heard on every stage at the Kennedy Center as well as playing for two years as the harpist for afternoon tea at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia. She is the principal harpist for the Fairfax Symphony and has performed with the Baltimore Symphony, the National Symphony, the St. Louis Symphony and the Richmond Symphony. Ms. Rogers looks forward to helping brides select music that will reflect their tastes and has a wide repertoire which includes jazz, folk, celtic, rock and classical offerings.
