Operating out of Wayne, New Jersey, Kaia Marie Balcos is a professional photographer who lends her talents to documenting weddings and other lifestyle events. I graduated with a photojournalism degree from Boston University and started my photography career working as an assignment photographer with Time Out! New York. From there, I dove into the fashion photography industry and worked on the photo production team behind world-renowned photographers, including Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, and Craig McDean. I later worked as a full-time photo producer for the retail brand Urban Outfitters. I feel my years of experience in both the documentary photography and fashion and commercial photography industries gives me the unique advantage of being very sensitive to the high emotions of a wedding day while being very in tune with the importance of logistics and timing of your event.

My main goal as a photographer is to help ensure my couples can soak in their special day while documenting every moment that swirls around them. I am passionate about capturing a special moment in time for you but also about making you feel safe and keeping the day sacred despite the amount of detail and work involved.
