Kate is detailed oriented, honest and experienced. She made sure our engagement and wedding day photos captured our story and she did this by getting to know us as couple. She encouraged us to pick a place that was meaningful to us rather than a generic setting for our engagement photos, and I'm so glad she did because every time we visit the location there's even more history and love there for us. Kate helped with making decisions about decor and shared experiences about what she has seen work and not work, i LOVED this about her. There is so much that goes into a wedding (even a small one) and it was beyond supportive to have Kate as a sounding board. I love sharing my photos with people, honestly I could not have asked for more.

My husband and I had a destination wedding this past summer in Healdsburg at Madrona Manor. Kate was our photographer and was so pleasant to work with before, during and after our wedding. She is professional and precise. We absolutely LOVE our photos and how she captured so many sweet moments of our very special day.

We planned a destination wedding and she was always quick to respond to our emails and calls which was important since we were not local (or even the same time zone). She met with us at our venue to walk through our ideas and explain hers before the wedding so on the wedding day everything was planned and prepared. Kate was referred to us by friends who had hired her previously. After reviewing Kate and several other photographers, we hired Kate for our wedding in Healdsburg on September 3rd, 2016. Kate was flexible with respect to our initial contract with respect to time commitments and event parameters. Kate ended up like part of the family leading up to, during and after the event. We were so happy with her coverage of the event and we ended up with some really special pictures. She was collaborative working with us extensively on our photo album and never complained even through the numerous changes we imposed along the way. The end result was fantastic! Kate has been taking photos for my family since I was in high school, so I couldn't imagine having anyone else capture the special moments from my wedding day when the time came to find a photographer. Kate was so easy to communicate with right up until the day of the wedding, so I felt completely at-ease and confident that everything would look great the day of. She and her assistant went above and beyond many times throughout the wedding day as well by even doing the small things, like reminding me to drink water and taking silly photos of me and my bridal party. All of the photos that were captured that day were absolutely beautiful. All of my guests have commented on how amazing they look. Kate was amazing. You spend so much of your wedding day with your photographer - it's important that you like them! Kate was the perfect companion and did so much to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. She really helped us enjoy our day as it was happening, as well as capture it brilliantly with her photos. Kate was amazing! She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding and everything came out beautifully. Every time I look through the photos, I notice something new! She has a great eye and is very good at capturing candid moments, which is exactly what I was looking for. We were both feeling a little awkward in front of the camera, but Kate is a good coach and we look completely comfortable in the photos. She was there when we needed her, and disappeared into the background when we didn't. I can't imagine the day with another photographer!
