JW Marriott Marquis Miami

The JW Marriott Marquis Miami was the perfect venue for our Downtown/Brickell wedding. We truly wanted a space that felt tropical, modern, and immersed in the city of Miami, versus right on the beach (but still with easy access to all that Miami has to offer). Our planner showed us the JW Marriott Marquis "Arena" and I knew it would be the perfect spot to host our 160+ guests, most flying in for the weekend. I loved how high the vaulted ceilings were and the space felt really large with modern and industrial accents. I had toured other venues where the spaces just felt really tight and I wanted something that made an impact and that we could essentially turn into a club!

The pool deck was also the perfect space for the cocktail hour - it felt perfectly like Miami!

We worked on logistics for over a year with the team and it was such an amazing experience. The team was very accommodating and it really felt like they wanted us to have the best event possible. Everything from checking in, to upgrading our bridal suite, accommodating our food and drink requests, as well as accommodating our guests... it was truly an AMAZING experience, and quite frankly, the best weekend of our lives. On the day of, someone was already right around the corner bringing us waters, champagne, cocktails, anything we could possibly need when we needed it - I didn't even have to ask, everything just appeared! Our guests said it was some of the best food and drinks they've had at a wedding and that the rooms were some of the nicest they've ever stayed in.

If you want to have a stress-free wedding weekend that will really WOW your guests, DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK YOUR EVENT HERE! Additionally, they made logistics super easy because we had 50+ people apart of vendor teams in and out over the course of two days (DJ, entertainment, dancers, laser show, florist, rigging, multiple rental companies ice sculpture, etc.) and it went seamlessly. Make your life easier as well and take advantage of their ceremony space - our guests loved how they didn't have to travel after the ceremony to cocktail hour, it was right upstairs!

Ingrid Kamimura - our go-to for allllll planning and our main contact with our planner. Quite possibly one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of working with and who went above and beyond to make sure our event went smoothly. I really owe this event to Ingrid and my planner, as they made the magic happen. If you have the pleasure of working with Ingrid, just know you're in great hands!

Valeria Labrador - really helped make sure everything was set up correctly and worked really closely with Ingrid. She was the best! Honestly amazed and forever grateful for this team who worked with our many vendors.

Alexander - our banquet and bar captain who made sure everything was on time with our meals and everyone had the correct food. Our guests were SO happy! Really truly amazing service.

Yeinier Jach - the director of banquets who oversaw our food and beverage and truly made it an amazing experience for us. We went a little wild and had 7 hours of open bar :) So you could imagine how hard that is to make sure everything runs smoothly, always have fresh ingredients, hot food, etc. IT WAS PERFECT!

Ariana Ventura - took care of our room block of 30 rooms and our welcome bags. It was such a seamless experience. Thank you so much!

The JW Marriott Marquis Miami is an absolutely stunning venue, and it was truly a pleasure working with their team. From beginning to end, our hotel coordinator, Ingrid, was nothing short of amazing. She was not only incredibly professional, communicative, and responsive, but she genuinely made the entire wedding planning process feel easy and stress-free. Ingrid worked so hard to accommodate everything I wanted (and more!) and was always flexible and solutions-oriented. Beyond that, she was simply a joy to work with—I honestly feel like I made a friend through this process. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful it was. Everyone from the valet team, to the lobby employees, to all of the staff and bartenders during the event provided the best and kindest treatment.
Ingrid was the event coordinator we worked with from the venue, and from the first time we met her we immediately knew we should host our event at the venue. She is the sweetest and kindest, and she is extremely responsive, organized, and resourceful. Every time I had a question, Ingrid immediately found an answer or figured out a way to make things work.
A huge highlight was the tasting. The food was exceptional, so much more than we could've expected. The short rib and chicken entrees were better than many restaurants I've tried.
The day of the event everything ran perfectly smoothly. Big shoutout to the staff that was with us all day from getting ready in the morning all through the party making sure everything we needed was provided.
Ever since guest that came up to me had nothing but the most wonderful things to say about the service that was provided that night. The wait and bar staff were so so kind to everyone but also a lot of fun. They truly made the event special.

We recently celebrated our son and daughter in law’s wedding at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and the experience was absolutely amazing, from the moment we arrived every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for- almost like we are part of their family .

The ceremony took place on the Basketball court on the 19 th floor , everyone complemented they had a great time there the hotel had a lot of amenities there ,everyone enjoyed having some drinks playing the different games pool, mini bowling and how to forget everyone’s favorite the foosball table ,

AMAZING! I honestly cannot put into words how grateful I am to Ingrid and the JW team. This was an event that required so many details in a short amount of time. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Ingrid and the rest of the JW team to plan and execute a surprise 60th birthday party, and they truly exceeded every expectation. Having my wedding at the JW Marriott Marquis was hands down the best decision I made! The team at the hotel—Ingrid, Jonathan, and Sara—were truly incredible. From the moment we met them, they made us feel like family and took care of everything flawlessly. Their attention to detail and hospitality ensured that our big day went off without a hitch.

Ingrid went above and beyond in so many ways! For example, the Thursday before the wedding, she gave us an entire room for storage so we were able to bring in all of our wedding day items ahead of time to ease stress and anxiety. On the day of the wedding, after being on my feet for hours, she went out of her way to get me bandaids, to make sure I was comfortable. And the morning after the wedding, she was still incredibly attentive, making sure we had all of our belongings and everything was in order.

Jonathan was the master of perfection. He accommodated every request we had, from selecting the ideal alcohol choices to allowing my husband to bring his own gin. He even made adjustments to the meal to suit our needs. Jonathan ensured that everything was exactly to our liking, taking the time to tailor every detail to both our tastes and the preferences of our guests.

And then there’s Sara—she’s absolutely one-of-a-kind! We first met her at the pool bar, and from that moment, she treated us like VIPs. Every visit to the venue was accompanied by a glass of champagne from Sara, and on our wedding day, she was the first to greet me in the getting-ready room. She made sure the entire wedding party felt cared for and comfortable, like we were her own family. That kind of personal touch is rare and truly special.

Our wedding included a block of over 45 rooms for our guests, and each room was greeted with a thoughtful welcome box. The team at the JW Marriott, made the organization of 45 + rooms very easy. The check-in process was seamless, and everything went smoothly, allowing our guests to feel just as pampered as we were.

As for the hotel, it speaks for itself. The towering windows, high ceilings, a beautiful cocktail area, and modern design exude elegance and class—truly the perfect setting for a wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or seamless experience.

It was a pleasure having my daughter's wedding at the JW Marriott Marquis. Our contact was Ingrid Kamimura and she was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was quick answering questions during the planning stage and came up with solutions and suggestions that were game changers. On the wedding day, Yeinier, the director of banquets, was on hand. It was a smooth execution, and we appreciate his generosity with details that we were not expecting. To top it off, Carolina and Mayra took great care of us during the reception, anticipating the smallest request in a cheerful and professional manner.
