Julie was the best of so many worlds. First of all, the quality of her photos was impeccable. She was also a pleasure to work with, and had a wonderful rapport with the families. I would definitely reach out to her again the next time I have need for a professional photographer.

Julie worked with my 6 year old daughter with such patience, joy and individuality. This session was to capture the vibrance of my 6 year old daughter who happens to be the youngest of my 4 children. Julie knew exactly how to capture her with her spunky personality. I appreciate Julies willingness to use some of our ideas and adapt to her own. I have worked with photographers in the past that have set ideas in mind that really dont reflect our style or personalities. Julie was also extremely patient with my daughter, she was moving from one spot to the next and julie would suggest fun poses and ideas to Katie that made the photo session fun and not intimidating. We went to Julie Ulstrup Photography to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. She has a special way of capturing the joy and love we both felt. In the past Julie has captured a moment with my mother who is now 91 years old. She has great vision and is extremely comfortable to work with. Hey- she got my husband to relax and show the man I fell in love with 41 years ago. We highly recommend her to photograph any venue!!
