Julie is truly a lovely person and a very talented photographer. We loved her personality and work from the beginning and were thrilled to work with her. Unfortunately, we had a lot of problems with very slow/lack of communication before and after our wedding. Our photos turned out amazing and we are so happy with the product, but the process of working with Julie was frustrating at times simply due to the lack of responsiveness.

Julie did a great job with our photos but not worth it for the lack of communication and stress that was added. Took 6 months to get our photos after many times of trying to reach her via text, email, and phone. For the price we paid, we would have appreciated more follow through.

Much like the other review, I enjoyed the quality, aesthetic and working with Julie in person (emphasis on in person) but her overall professionalism and response time needs serious work.

My husband and I hired her for her engagement & wedding day package. We shot our engagement photos and had the photos returned quickly. They’re gorgeous and still some of my favorite photos of us. Our wedding photos too are seriously so gorgeous. Julie made our day look like a dream. However, we didn’t get our photos until 7 months later. It was extremely disappointing to wait this long. I inquired many times and Julie told me that she was overwhelmed with her own life (understandable) but lacked communicating that with me without me having to reach out to see if I was to ever receive our wedding photos.

I, also, was asked (once our wedding photos were returned) to update her website. Initially I had declined but eventually said yes. I redid her domain, her entire website, and even her logo for her to plug and play her photos, galleries and personal copy/text she felt was appropriate. I let her know she could have full control over her website once I felt like it was in a good spot and I didn’t get a response from her even acknowledging the text for three months. Thereafter she never said thank you, never paid me (like I did her services) and also never said thank you.

Months later, she has since changed major portions of her website that I meticulously created for her.
