We hired JT Douglas for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend him or any function. Very organized and made out night memorable. Book him do not search any further!!!

Hired JT for our beach wedding at ST Pete beach. Set up early and kept the timeline and the party going. Did a surprise live performance of our first dance. JT is a very talented DJ/Artist and even did a behind the scenes video. Made our first perfect day perfect. True talent and a pro, hire JT!

JT was great! He was timely, professional and versatile because he played acoustic guitar during the cocktail hour and then played disc jockey during the reception.

Warning for you brides out there. I hired JT Douglas for my wedding on April 2026. It is now two months away and I reached out to JT to discuss the floor plan at the venue since it involved two different rooms. I had emailed him the day before and didn't receive a response so I figured I could shoot him a text and try to schedule a phone call. The first response I received was to refer to the contract that I should only contact him a week before my wedding. He continued by saying that he has other clients and wants to stay in order. After, i responded that I guess i will wait to discuss the venue, he finally said feel free to ask questions but not on the final details. I was frustrated cause he never addressed us setting up a time to talk on the phone, like I initially asked. After thinking about it, I texted him the next day to let him know that I don’t feel comfortable with waiting a week before my wedding to discuss logistics. My fear being "What if he can't accommodate my request?" And now I have to try to figure out an alternative plan. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but having the most important vendor not assessible for questions cause he has other clients before me. I have been able to speak with my catering company, venue, bartender, and hair stylists with no problem. Once I requested to cancel my contract, JT really showed out by being disrespectful. He pretty called me entitled and acted like I have to have to always have my way. He has no idea who I am or what i wanted since he never even gave me a chance. After more insults, I blocked him and he had another guy text me with more rude remarks. I had to block that guy too. Long story short, if you are planning a wedding, ladies be careful if you are looking for great customer service and an attentive DJ who actually cares about the most memorable day of your life, stay away from JT Douglas. He is rude and disrespectful.

The guy won’t contact you for 7 months and will randomly blow up your phone. Will continue to slander you after trying to make things right professionally. I owned up to my mistake, but the guy can’t own up that as a vendor, you should probably follow up with your clients.

Then he will continue to say how your money doesn’t even matter because he owns a duplex and paid off 3 cars. Dude is a complete joke show. Don’t waste your time and effort. Cancelled on me and won’t pay back deposit. Probably because he’s too busy paying his cars and trying to book and cancel others.
