I hired Jennifer from JT Artistry for my SF City Hall wedding. My experience was was great from the start. I live about 400 miles from where my wedding was taking place, so I was worried about how a trial run would work. We emailed back and forth discussing inspiration pictures, my dress, etc She had mentioned having plenty of out of town brides and that the trial wasn't 100% necessary, but my nerves got the best of me, so I just booked a mid-week turn-around trip and scheduled the trial. I'm SO glad I did. My appointment was for 11am, and by late afternoon I realized the liquid makeup wasn't going to cooperate with my ridiculously oily skin. Plus, it just felt a little heavier than I was hoping for. I let her know all of my concerns once I'd gotten back home. She was super understanding and she decided we'd use airbrush makeup the day of the wedding. It turned out GREAT!! It was so natural looking and I didn't need any sort of blotting or touch-ups all day! I also found a new inspo pic for my hair long after the trial, showed it to her the morning of the wedding and she NAILED it. We took a 2 hour trolley ride around San Francisco after the ceremony stopping for pictures at various (windy) spots, and my hair 100% stayed put the entire time!

I feel so blessed to have discovered Jennifer Toy of JT Artistry! She highly experienced and well trained in professional hair and makeup, and she is very dedicated to her craft.... and it shows! It was so much fun getting to know more about her during my trial appointment in my bedroom on a stormy morning the month prior. Just a quick glance at my Pinterest inspiration board and she totally nailed the look I was hoping to achieve, but I looked even better!

Spending that enjoyable time together gave me the extra confidence that the morning of my wedding would be a joyful, peaceful experience for myself and my wedding party. She arrived on time, ready to work, and has such a calming, sweet personality that makes everyone fall in love with her.

On my wedding day, Jennifer expertly styled us all --- myself, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flower girl --- exactly as we envisioned, taking it up a notch and our look stayed perfect throughout the wedding day and night. Our flower girl loved her cute curls and touch of lip gloss. And having that extra bit of professional lipstick in my purse for later in the night was such a sweet and thoughtful touch.

Not only for our wonderful wedding, but also for future glam events, I am so thankful that Jennifer's special expertise is available to me here in San Francisco!

Jen is not only talented with hair and makeup, she's super sweet too! She came all the way out to our B and B in Napa to do my hair and makeup for my wedding this September. She was on time and prepared. I sent her photos from Pinterest and she did a great job giving me what I wanted for my special day. I didn't have a test run before the big day, so I was so relieved when I saw the results. Do not hesitate to hire Jen for your special event, she's awesome

Jen was amazing! I received so many compliments on my make up. Also, the mothers were very particular on how they wanted their hair and make up to look and I was a little worried, but they both ended up loving their looks! I highly recommend working with Jen!

Jennifer did my make-up for my wedding and I can't be more happy with how it turned out! She definitely has an eye for beauty as well as the skills to bring that across. Before the wedding, she met up with me multiple times to make sure we found the look I was looking for. Through the entire process, she was patient and fun and really made me feel heard and taken care of. On my Big Day, she not only made me feel beautiful and confident in my make-up, I was extremely comfortable in it too. She also did the make-up for all of my bridesmaids, and I have to say all of them looked just gorgeous that day. I'm so thankful to Jennifer for making me feel as beautiful and comfortable in my make-up on my wedding day and I can't recommend her enough!

I chose to go with Jennifer Toy for my wedding and reception day makeup and I am so glad I did because everyone including myself felt that I looked stunning both days ;) Also, it was great because Jen did my makeup a little different each day, but still made me look like myself! She is an amazing makeup artist, you can really tell with her technique and the way you look after she has done your makeup. She does not make you look caked on and full of makeup, but a natural glamorous version of yourself! She also did my Mom's full makeup and eye makeup for some of my cousins and friends during those days. My mom also looked great, everyone was stopping her to ask her if she did her own makeup, she was glowing! All my cousins and friends were also so happy and satisfied with Jen's makeup skills and some of them are great makeup artists themselves!! That says a lot about Jen! Jennifer is not only an exceptional makeup artist, but she is also very good with time and not taking forever to do makeup, she is very confident and knows what she is doing!! She is also very flexible in changing anything you do not like and makes sure you are 100% satisfied before getting off her chair!!! She is calm, respectable and gives off such peaceful energy that it was just a blessing for me to have her as my makeup artist for my wedding!
