Josh is SO great!!

Josh was so responsive and helpful and his music was just perfect for our ceremony. We wanted an acoustic guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour and I reached out to Josh with some music ideas which he had no problem playing. He also sent me a list of songs he played at a previous wedding and we discussed different songs that we like. He was really great to work with and we just loved the ambience that his guitar playing provided! Highly recommend Josh for your guitar playing needs! :)

Perfect entertainment for our small, formal wedding!

We had a small, formal 32 person wedding and Josh provided entertainment for the entire event: ceremony, cocktail hour, seated reception. He created such a nice environment for our guests, playing a wonderful selection of songs that appealed to all. He was extremely responsive and flexible when we asked to add additional play time. He also took specific song requests for our ceremony and reception. He was WONDERFUL and our intimate, formal event would not have been complete without him. Do not hesitate to hire Josh!

Our guests were WOWed!!

Josh did an incredible job performing our first dance song live for our wedding. We requested a special “mashup” of two separate songs that could not have been more different but are both special to us. He performed it flawlessly! Highly recommend!

Most talented musician you could dream of working with for your wedding

Our experience working with Josh was outstanding. We asked him to arrange an Edward Sharpe song so that some of our bridesmaids and groomsmen could play musical instruments and sing as we walked down the aisle. He also played guitar and vocals with our friends. It sounded fantastic, was incredibly special, and we got SO many compliments.

The experience was beyond amazing. When we were published in Philadelphia Magazine, that musical component was a key outstanding feature.

Josh is very easy to work with, diligent, and incredibly musically talented. He has such a diverse range of musical skills, which can really help to create awesome custom and meaningful moments. You won't regret working with him for any of your musical ideas and needs!

Amazing and professional!

Josh was just what we needed to sing at our wedding ceremony. He learned all of the songs very quickly and was extremely responsive and flexible with all of the last minute changes we needed to make to our ceremony

His voice is spectacular and our officiant said it was the best version of these songs that he has ever heard.

The BEST thing!

We LOVED having Josh sing and play the guitar for our first dance at our upstate NY wedding. He sang "You are the best thing" by Ray Lamontagne and, not to be the absolute cheesiest, it certainly was the best thing! Not only is he a fabulous musician, but it was clear he had practiced and prepared for the song we chose. He was also super flexible and responsive to our requests: for example, we were uncomfortable about dancing in front of everyone for the length of an entire song, so he worked with us to cut parts of the song so that it still had all the parts we wanted, but we also didn't have to be in the spotlight for as long. We can't recommend Josh highly enough for your future events; our night wouldn't have been as special without him.

Hire Josh! He’s great.


‘Josh played at our daughters ‘MicroWedding’ and did a wonderful job! He was perfect for our small home based wedding and really made a huge difference in the atmosphere having live music. He can play such a variety of music and played for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Josh was very responsive whenever I contacted him. He was punctual and very professional. I’d highly recommend Josh.’
