My name is Michelle Sohn and I have owned Jons Gallery for 20 years. My love of photography started while in high school. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, IA. I graduated with high honors, achieving 1 of the top 5 student photographers in the State of Iowa. After graduating from Hawkeye, I returned to northwest Iowa to work at Jons Gallery. Within a year I purchased the studio. I wanted to become a Certified Professional Photographer. The CPP Program requires passing a comprehensive exam, submitting a portfolio of images and completing on-going education. I acquired my CPP status in 1996.
