Our wedding took place on a farm on May 31st. While there were a few small cottages and a house on the property, there was no convenient place for our guests to use the bathroom during the reception.
I was horrifed by the idea of portable toilets at my wedding reception, but there is a company, Johnny on the Spot, located in Adairsville, Georgia that provided the perfect solution.
They brought a white toilet trailer. This is going to sound crazy, but it was wonderful!
There was a mens and womens bathroom. They were air conditioned and had a built-in sound system! We played our favorite tracks for our guests. Here is the most wonderful part.
THESE BATHROOMS HAD GRANITE COUNTERTOPS, MARBLE SINKS AND SEPERATE STALLS FOR THE TOILETS!
The bathrooms at my wedding were bigger than the ones in my apartment. I never even knew there was such a thing. We placed disposable cameras on all the tables, and when I developed them, several people had actually taken pictures of these amazing bathrooms. Also, guests commented on how nice they were at the reception!
This toilet trailer not only solved what I thought was going to be a terrible problem, but actually impressed people! The owners of the company were so great and were tickled to death that everyone loved the bathrooms.
You should consider using them should you have the need for toilets at your outdoor wedding.
