From the start, Jimmy made sure to ask my husband and I all about our wants, needs, dos, don’ts… things we hadn’t even considered, Jimmy was prepared to walk us through and even share opinions (without ever overstepping!)

Our engagement shoot was fantastic, but our wedding is truly what blew us away. We heard from all our guests and other vendors that they had wonderfully positive experiences working with him and chatting. Jimmy is a professional in all senses of the word. From the beginning, Jimmy was communicative and answered all our questions in our first phone call, which was nice considering we had never hired one before. Although we weren’t sure if we wanted engagement photos, Jimmy convinced us it was worth doing. Looking back, we’re glad we did. Not only were the photos fantastic, but we got a sense of how Jimmy worked providing a trial run that allowed us all to be comfortable with each other before the wedding. During the event, Jimmy was there to make sure our day ran smoothly. He even helped with a last-minute snag with the boutonnieres helping to pin them on the groomsmen. Once we got the photos, we were definitely impressed. They all came out even better than we hoped for. They were indicative of his portfolio, so if you like that, the end product is going to be just as good, if not better.

From our first call to the sneak peeks from our big day Jimmy was incredibly professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He made me and my husband feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and made us laugh along the way. Jimmys wife was expecting her second child around the time of our wedding so he added a second shooter free of charge in case he had to leave early that day. ( thankfully he didn’t!!) I still can’t get over our wedding photos- they are everything we could have dreamed of and more. Jimmy took the time to learn the lay of the land of our venue to get the best shots while keeping us comfortable in the heat. He got along so well with all of our other vendors which made for a seamless experience all around . Jimmy has a unique way of capturing the most special and genuine moments that we just couldn’t find in any other photographer . Like I said from the start ; book him now!!

Our first call with Jimmy set us at ease about the whole wedding planning process, not even just as it pertains to photography. He was extremely kind and informative and gave us advice and recommendations throughout the process whenever asked. We loved doing the engagement shoot with Jimmy and it allowed us to get comfortable in front of the camera. He even took notice of which photos from the engagement shoot we were posting on social media; to better understand the types of shots we preferred for the wedding. My husband and I also joke that he is lightning fast, we were amazed at how quickly he had previews and blogs posted with many wonderful images. On the day of the wedding, he expertly organized and made sure we got all of the photos on our list, melted into the crowd to capture those candid shots and made sure we got the night sky shot toward the end of the reception that I had specifically requested. Look no further for your wedding photography needs! I started looking for a photographer in spring of 2023, a full year ahead of my wedding. I came across Jimmy's profile on one of these wedding planning sites and thought I'd get in touch. The first time I spoke with Jimmy on the phone, he put me right at ease. He immediately started talking about what a schedule of the day would look like. It was clear this wasn't his first rodeo- he really knew the ins and outs of what a busy wedding day would bring. We really emphasized to Jimmy that while we certainly wanted the typical wedding day shots, we also wanted to thoroughly enjoy our day and not get lost in the chaos that comes along with it all. He was absolutely amazing at delivering exactly what we wanted. He was able to get us several family photos and first look shots before the ceremony even took place, so we didn't have to miss our cocktail hour. After our ceremony, we got the remaining family photos out of the way and still had plenty of time to enjoy cocktail hour. During the reception, he had this great way of being stealth- he captured so many beautiful moments without ever being "in the way" or ever making us feel like we needed to stop what we were doing to pose. He got all the romantic shots I wanted, along with all the candids of people dancing, playing games, and just overall celebrating. I also love that he did our engagement shoot several months prior, so we were able to get to know each other a little bit before the big day. Many people don't realize that having your picture taken professionally is actually kind of awkward, but Jimmy made us so comfortable and captured so many memories for us.

I also want to add that sadly, 4 months after my wedding, my mother unexpectedly passed away. When I posted about this, Jimmy was quick to reach out to me and extend condolences, but he also extended the most heartfelt, generous offer to let him know if there were specific pictures of my mom from my wedding that I liked and he could edit them/touch them up further. He is so kind. In the last year, I really feel like Jimmy isn’t just one of our wedding vendors, but instead, has become a friend!

Planning and coordinating was seamless. Jimmy was able to plan with us how much time and manpower we would need for our specific venue and the shots we wanted. He was open to any ideas we had for shots, but he was also fully prepared to take the lead and direct as needed. My husband and I found Jimmy on a wedding website, we had an engagement shoot and our wedding shot by him and he is THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER!! Jimmy came hours early to the wedding to get pictures of the bridal parties getting ready, then he stayed right up until 30 minutes after the reception ended, when my husband and I were still dancing. He is such a nice and easy going person, he made our wedding day that much more relaxed and fun! He went above and beyond to make the day special for us. He even helped my maid of honor with busseling my dress when we were having a dress catastrophe.

He gives you all your photos in an easy online album, and he edits a few of the best ones and sends them right away for you to post! And they are absolutely gorgeous photos! He puts in so much effort to get the perfect pictures, suggesting the poses, knowing how to make you comfortable behind the camera, and scoping out the best places and lighting for you.

We absolutely love Jimmy! We booked Jimmy in May of 2020 for our Aug. 2021 wedding. We love that he does the engagement shoot with us prior to the wedding to get to know us and how we work. He travelled to one of our favorite locations and was extremely flexible. When we received the engagement pictures a few weeks after we knew we had made the right choice to go with him. They were absolutely stunning! We next talked to Jimmy in July 2021 to prep for our wedding. We discussed any particular pictures we wanted as well as the timeline of the day and when we would want him to get to our location. He worked with us and helped us come up with the timeline to make sure we both took pictures with him before the first look. Once we arrived at the venue he was the guy we looked to for any pictures we wanted and he was always on top of getting the right shot. He was so calm throughout the whole night it was really a breath of fresh air for us. He took so much stress out of the day and really helped us enjoy every second of it. Our favorite part was right before dinner he came over to us and asked if we wanted to sneak away for some sunset pics and it was perfect timing! We were able to really take the whole day in and it was very special for us. The pictures he took are beautiful and everything we could have hoped for and more!
