In addition to gorgeous photography, Jessica coordinated wedding party photography to perfection, making our special day feel light and easy!

First and foremost, Jessica was flexible, understanding, and gracious when it came to postponing our wedding due to the pandemic.

When our day finally arrived, Jessica helped save our timeline and schedule with above and beyond teamwork! Our wedding planner and her team were up against very challenging time restrictions from our venue regarding setup. When Jessica arrived, she immediately took charge of the wedding party, coordinated “getting ready” photos, managed my husband and myself throughout the whole evening, and expertly rallied family for group photos. She was assertive with her needs and requirements to get things done, but kept the mood lovely and breezy! A true professional.

All said and done, we were floored by the quality of our photos: breath-taking editing, moody and sumptuous, but captured so many perfect and memorable moments!

After such a successful day, our immediate reaction was “we need to give Jessica a bigger tip.” She is worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed!

I want to give Jessica about 1,000 more stars! My new husband absolutely hates having his picture taken and the idea of getting a ton of photos has been his #1 source of stress since the day we got engaged. Luckily for him, I met the AMAZING Jessica Christie over a decade ago and had the pleasure of working with her several times over the years. So when the time came to get our elopement photos, I knew exactly who to call. Jessica made us both feel so comfortable and we had a blast! At several points during the day I checked in with him to see if he needed a break etc. and he just kept saying "No I'm good, this is actually really fun!" and for him that alone spoke volumes to me about how fabulous Jessica is!

The day of our wedding was rainy and stormy, and it would have been very easy to have the weather *rain on our parade* but Jessica found creative and beautiful ways to use the weather to our advantage. After receiving our sneak peaks, I was in tears! I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life, and my husband said "Wow, I have never liked a photo of myself before, but I look pretty great"!!! I don't feel like I will ever have the words to sufficiently thank Jessica!! I am forever grateful

Jessica is a master at her craft. My fiance and I are over the moon about the engagement photos she shot for us on Mt Evans in Colorado! Jessica made the entire experience, from start to finish so incredibly enjoyably and easy! Jess was so encouraging and made us both feel so comfortable the entire time! Jessica is incredibly passionate about what she does and works literal magic with her camera, as she has an eye for the most beautiful compositions. Jess was able to capture so much love, passion, and happiness in our photos I literally cannot stop looking at them! She is so attentive to even the smallest of details and captured absolutely stunning photographs of us at the precise moment a snowstorm was rolling in in the distance. At one point our hands got so cold Jess invited us into her car to warm up and plan out the rest of our shoot! We are so lucky to have had Jessica take our engagement photos and could not resist booking her for our wedding too in June! We cannot wait to shoot with her again! Jessica's laughter and zest for life are contagious! We are so grateful to work with someone who truly loves what they do.

Our original review was for our elopement (see Stephanie C.'s review), and this review is for our formal wedding ceremony/reception a year later. We're amazed at her vision and how versatile her style is comparing our boho elopement against the red rocks in Monument Valley and Arches National Park, to now to our wedding day in a rustic barn and farm. Our venue at Olympia's Valley Estate itself is already so photogenic to begin with, but it takes someone with creative direction to add her own unique style and she kept it fresh with experimenting and posing us differently. Each set amongst another location or scenery is so different, but at the same time cohesive with distinct Jess Christie steeze. It tells a story and she captured our happiness, silliness, and love authentically.

She helped direct the wedding day and kept us moving on our timeline of events, while our videographers followed in her footsteps to let her take the lead. We didn't have a second shooter so she had to work extra hard since the venue is acres wide, but she was still able to capture everything. For example, after we finished the ceremony and taking immediate family portraits, there was a small timeframe before the reception began with folks entering the barn to be seated, but she made sure to get her shots in time before the crowd entered since she knew how much we labored on the decor and details. At the end of the night, she stayed back to enjoy the dancing and music with the rest of us. She hung out with us almost all weekend and we're forever grateful to have our photographer turn into our homie!

She had a busy summer with so many other events, but the pictures were delivered in 3 months and right on time. She's a 1-man band that has to edit thousands of pictures in between the busy wedding season, while still maintaining a work/life balance. We were impressed by her dedication in her craft, her post-processing, and of course her overall direction. She captured all the feels and although we get  shy being photographed, it didn’t show in the photos at all. With her easy-going and fun personality, we always felt comfortable and trusted her vision. Thank you for being with us through both of our 2 biggest milestones!

I’m not sure this review will do her enough justice – but I will try. Every interaction we had with Jess was both personal and professional. My husband James works in the film world so images are very important to him and he can be very hard to please therefore we did a lot of searching through wedding photographers. Once we came across the work of Jessica Christie photography we knew we were on to something special. After grabbing a drink with her we also knew she was the right person to capture our wedding day. Jess’s work was nothing short of amazing. For our engagement shoot we hiked Mohawk Lake outside of Breckenridge and while neither James nor I are super comfortable in front of the camera she made it feel so easy – like we were just hiking with a friend (and her amazing puppy!). When our wedding day came it felt so natural to have her there with us. Jess was up for everything we requested on the big day – from traditional family photos to jumping into the back of a four-wheeler with us to drive further up the mountain. We honestly could not be happier with our amazing photos as she perfectly captured our wedding day!

We decided on a shotgun elopement less than a month prior and coincidentally, Jess was free that weekend. Rather than just going to our local courthouse, we wanted an adventure photoshoot at Arches National Park and Monument Valley. She gave us the freedom to plan whatever we wanted and was down to tag along with anything we had in mind and didn’t mind the long road trip with us from Moab to MV. From the get go, Jess was extremely easy to work with and accommodating. Her personality and passion shines through her emails, Instagram stories, and pictures. She is just as personable in person; she stays real and her energy is contagious, which allows you be your best self in the moment.

Our first minishoot was in Arches where we finally met in person and got our first glimpse into Jess’ shooting style. As we strolled and chatted through the short hike, she would pause us, direct us to be in a comfortable scenario, snap multiple angles to play with the light or to capture the scenery, and then move right along to another spot to do the same. We thought we would be awkward and nervous but it really did feel as natural as just hanging out with another nature-loving friend. We were in a national park on a holiday weekend and she made us feel like we had the whole park to ourselves, and was always excited FOR us.

We later drove together to Monument Valley and once we reached "Forest Gump Point," it was on! We quickly got dressed and had fun taking highway shots. While inside MV, we had numerous pit stops and she was always looking out for different angles and backgrounds and didn't shy from being creative, artsy, or experimental. When we passed one of the iconic viewpoints, we were like, “I think this is it... I think this is where we want to exchange our vows and get eloped!” Jess shared in our excitement and let us be ourselves as we read letters to each other. She worked her magic without ever getting in the way and captured a glowing golden hour. It was all our first times there and it was an adventure on its own just exploring the valley. We had so much fun and it really reflected in the emotion she captured. Again, we felt like we were the only ones there. Even when she directed us, it felt like we were in the presence of an old friend.

We received our photos way quicker than we expected, and they were simply incredible. Jess captured the scenery, emotions, and memories beautifully. She showed us sneak peeks from her camera during the shoots to get us excited, but her final edits were beyond what we could’ve ever imagined. Her photos speak for themselves. If you like her style, don’t hesitate to hit her up and spark up a convo to get to know her! We promise, you won’t regret it.

Jessica is a true master of her craft! She is a brilliant, creative, fun, passionate, heart-on-her- sleeve photographer. I’m so glad we started off with engagement photos and got to know her before the wedding, so come our wedding day, we were all joking and completely ourselves without any awkwardness on our sacred day! She is incredible both with her camera and with her ability to connect on a personal level. We trusted her and let her do her thing and I couldn’t be more in love with the entire process and our photos! Yay for love and adventures and beautiful souls on the journey of life!

Jessica is amazing! She was our photographer for our wedding and we could not be more happy that we went with her. She really puts her soul into her work and it shows, we couldn't love our engagement and wedding photos more! She makes you feel so comfortable while taking pictures and its like hanging out with a friend rather than just working with a photographer. I would highly recommend her, and I will absolutely using her for pictures in the future!

I cannot say enough about how perfectly Jessica captured Mike and I as couple, both in our engagement session and at our wedding. She went out on a limb for us and came all the way to Charleston, SC for our wedding! Choosing Jessica as our photographer was by far the best decision we made. Her shots are absolutely magic. Not only did we gain beautiful photos and memories to look back on forever, we also gained a friend in Jessica. She really took the time to get to know us personally and that came through in her work! We feel very blessed to have found such an amazing person to capture our special day and celebrate with us. :)

Jessica is amazing. Even saying that she is amazing is an understatement. She has one of the most pure and genuine spirits. Something that I appreciate most about Jessica is her attentiveness. She pays attention to every single detail. And our photos! God, our photos! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, I'm pretty sure i have cried every time. I am pretty sure that my husband and I will never use another photographer for the rest of our lives. Jessica has established long time clients in us. On my wedding day, I was having a super intense break down and Jessica was the only one who I let talk me through it. That was not in her job description and she did it anyway. I just can never express enough how much I appreciate and all she has done for us. Plus: she's SO amazing one of our engagement pictures from Rocky Mountain National Park was included in the Huffington Post!
