Jen was great to work with. Super professional yet also lighthearted and fun. Photos turned out amazing. She also used film and digital which turned out super cool. Would highly recommend.

Jennifer was AMAZING! She was so low key and didn't make my husband or I feel awkward while taking our maternity photoshoot. I would recommend her to ANYONE - no matter what season of life you're celebrating :)

Jenn and her team absolutely nailed it. We are so happy with every aspect of the photography.
She has a gift for catching those moments nobody will pay attention to.

She blew our expectations out of the water.

And a lot of that was having our large wedding and families exactly where they needed to be.

I asked for a photographer and gained a friend. Jenn is one of the most AWESOME people that I have ever worked with!!! When we looked for a photographer for our wedding, we both wanted someone who could get down and enjoy the night with us. Jenn came ready to give us exactly what we wanted and MORE. We loved working with her, the energy she gives off is so warm and welcoming. We even plan to use Jenn for future photo sessions. (#teamavaforlife)

Being a long distance bride, it can be hard to find vendors that are flexible to your needs, let alone your budget. Jen was AMAZING! She was flexible with the dates, times and locations of our engagement shoot. She was great at 'breaking the ice' and getting my husband to crack a smile. She brought along a second photographer for our wedding day, and I didn't even realize that she was there (in a good way!) I even got comments from my guests about how they noticed that her and her assistant were considerate of what has happening during the wedding and after party to stay out of the way and take photos incognito. She turned around our photos very fast and they look AMAZING! I'm only sad that I don't get to work with her again.

Jennifer was amazing to work with and we were able to meet with her several times before our wedding. She made sure that we had a set timeline and because of her attention to detail, our wedding day went very smoothly. She made it a point to ask what photos were important to us and if we had preferences for locations, groupings etc. We also had a wedding book made as part of our package. The quality of the book and the photos is truly outstanding. We have received several compliments on our pictures. We would definitely recommend her to other couples for wedding and engagement photography.

We hired Jennifer Halen to photograph our 09/27/2015 wedding. I cannot say enough positive things about her!!! Our wedding photos are STUNNING and she is the sweetest person to boot! She also had an assistant photographer help with our destination San Diego wedding (Brogan), who was also so incredibly sweet and talented.
Jennifer is kind, intelligent, sweet, reliable, and fun! My stomach was in knots on my wedding day and she is someone who just makes you feel at ease. Check her out, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Jennifer!!!

Jennifer is unbelievably talented. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on our wedding pictures. Getting pictures taken with her was amazing. Everyone looks fantastic in our pictures and she captured so many unexpected moments. She even captured a double rainbow on my wedding day! Jennifer is an amazing photographer, I highly recommend her for any photography needs!

Jen did our engagement photo's and they turned out fantastic! She was very organized and professional and made us feel very comfortable throughout the shoot. Jen is a very good communicator and she's personable and open to suggestions. We never felt any awkwardness working with her.

Most importantly, the pictures turned out great! My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased. Five stars all the way!
