Janine was great to work with from start to finish, and we were thrilled with how our pictures turned out. She is a technically-skilled photographer who is also responsive, extremely organized, and has a positive, upbeat, and easygoing personality—something that was very important to me because you essentially spend the majority of your wedding day with your photographer.

I was really impressed with how she always went above and beyond. She flew down to where we lived to take engagement pictures and helped scout out great locations for pictures. She did the same for our wedding day, and had several different option locations for our first look and couple portraits. She arranged to have the florist send over extra flowers on the morning of our wedding so that she could use them to take beautiful and creative pictures of our invitation suite and rings. She is great at posing people, making shots look natural, and capturing people’s personalities.

I love the candid editorial look that Janine and so many photographers are great at nowadays, but knew that portraits would be important for family. When I mentioned this, Janine thought of seating and standing arrangements that turned out great. We have a lot of family, including lots of little nieces and nephews, but everything was so organized that we zipped through them quickly and they are some of the best family portraits I’ve ever seen.

The only downside to Janine is that we have so many beautiful pictures, it has been hard to choose which ones we want in our album. But that's not a bad problem to have!

Janine was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She has an innate ability to make you feel instantly comfortable. She guided us through both the engagement session and wedding day with a soft, but directive touch. I found her to be very organized over the 6 months we worked together and came prepared to both days with specific photos and plans. When we wanted to add specific photos or try something different, she accommodated our needs while maintaining timing (making sure to get the best sun possible!) Her photos captured our personality as a couple and the unique personal moments of our big day. I would highly recommend Janine!

Janine and Becca were outstanding! They were super detailed oriented and as my maid of honor described it, "they attacked from every angle and were killing it." The previews I've seen are absolutely beautiful.
