Janina's cakes are a household staple for my family. I cannot remember a significant occasion where we did not have a cake from her, so we obviously got one for our wedding. Our cake was three tiers (hazelnut chocolate, lemon chiffon, opera topper) and it was covered in marzipan and decorated with mushrooms. We knew we wanted a cake that was a little funky and Janina nailed it. We're so appreciative of her working with us on the aspen and mushroom theme. And, most importantly, it was absolutely DELICIOUS. Everyone loved it, and people were clamoring to take cake home. Additionally, she made a vegan cake which my aunt swears is the best vegan cake she has ever had.

As usual, the product provided by Janina's was incredible. We opted to do hundreds of smaller deserts for our guests and a small cake for us, instead of one large cake to cut up for everyone. All the guests loved what Janina's brought. It was delicious!

Everyone loved our cake! It was beautiful and yummy! They had many choices of cake flavors, it was hard to narrow it down to our favorites!

The strawberry cake was AMAZING to say the least! I heard many of the guests say they never tasted wedding cake so divine! We will definitely use Janina's again for future occasions.

If you are looking for truly high quality pastry, this is the place to go. I have worked as a pastry chef and the search for a delicious wedding cake was difficult for me because there are a lot of beautiful looking cakes out there, but when it comes to quality and flavor, so many vendors are laking. Janina is a master of her craft and her cakes are not your run of the mill, pound cake layers with ultra sweet American Buttercream. Her genoise sponge is delicious and her not-too-sweet, but still decadent, French mousseline buttercream is flawless. I adored her creations so much, we had a table of FOUR cakes because I could decide on even two. We did naked cakes (which are a bit difficult to do with the delicate layers she creates) but she still executed beautiful cakes that were garnished with fresh flowers from our florist.

Her son Eric does the majority of the correspondence, and he is great , but sometimes I wished I could just speak with Janina directly instead of having information relayed. She is a busy gal, so I understand, but if I were to give one little flaw that would be it.

All-in-all, I had to hide any left over cake deep in the freezer to stop myself from eating it... it's that good and I don't think I can rave anymore, so if you are looking for a truly masterful cake that will leave your guests extremely please, definitely get in touch with Janina and taste for yourself.
