We HIGHLY recommend Janae and Hugo! From the very beginning, they were two of the sweetest, kindest, and most genuinely wonderful people to work with. We absolutely loved our engagement shoot with them, and even when we had to work around a rainstorm, they were so flexible, accommodating, and willing to do whatever we wanted to make the experience work. They were always so easygoing and made everything feel fun and stress free.

On our wedding day, they were absolutely incredible. They made everything feel so easy and natural, and somehow managed to be everywhere they needed to be without ever making us feel overwhelmed or rushed. They worked so well with us, our bridal party, and all of our other vendors, and they made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera all day.

But honestly, what meant the most to us was how much they felt like friends rather than just our photographers. Having Janae and Hugo there felt like having two people we genuinely loved having around by our side for such an important day. They brought such a calming, positive energy to the entire day and made the experience even more special just by being there.

We absolutely LOVE our preview photos and already know we are going to treasure the full gallery forever. They have already brought back so many amazing memories from the day, and we are so excited to see the rest!

And honestly, when my husband said after the wedding that he was sad he wouldn't get to hang out with Hugo again, I think that says everything :) We truly couldn't have asked for better photographers or better people to have with us on our wedding day.

If you are looking for photographers who are incredibly talented, but also want people who will make you feel comfortable, calm, and genuinely excited throughout the entire process, we cannot recommend Janae and Hugo enough. They were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we feel so lucky that they were the ones there to capture it all.

We had such an amazing experience working with Janae and Hugo for our engagement and wedding photos. They are so kind, organized, and talented and we're so happy we chose them! We felt immediately comfortable with them in our first meeting, which made planning easy, and helped us relax and have fun in front of the camera. They also were very accommodating and flexible. They created a custom package to add extra photo days for our wedding weekend, traveled to West Virginia to shoot our engagement photos, and even navigated an unexpected wedding date change.

The photos from all events are stunning! They did a great job capturing the feel of each different event, and we had (still have) so much fun looking through the albums. For the wedding, we told them we loved candids and wanted to focus on details and guests, and now we have such special keepsake photos of our loved ones and every detail of our wedding weekend. Us and our families and friends are so grateful to have such amazing photos to look back on for the rest of our lives.

The wedding albums included in our package are also gorgeous. The cover and pages are very high quality and it was so nice to have those paid for (for us and our parents) ahead of time. We were able to customize them to include the photos we wanted most, and to decide on the cover's material and color.

I could go on and on but the point is that Janae and Hugo are wonderful people who are great at what they do, and you should hire them for your wedding or other photo needs!

Janae and Hugo were an incredible photography team. When we met them at our engagement shoot we felt instantly comfortable with them and we loved how those photos came out! It made us even more excited to have them around on our big day. Leading up to the wedding, they were responsive, organized, and knowledgeable. I had no worries going into my wedding day because I was so confident they would do an amazing job and stay on schedule. The day went so smoothly and we were blown away with the quality and assortment of photos we got back. They were high quality, beautiful, and captured the day perfectly.

Janae and Hugo are absolutely fantastic and exceeded all of our expectations. From the first time we met them, we knew they were the perfect photographers for us - we even canceled the other initial meetings with our other potential photographers after our initial meeting with them, and they were the first photographers we met with. They were very accommodating for our requests, they were amazing with the littles ones in our families, and as a bonus were able to speak Spanish with a few family members who had limited English. They went above and beyond multiple times to make the planning process and day of events run smoothly. Throughout the engagement shoot and wedding, they consistently put us at ease, which helped the "staged" shots look much more organic. Their style is incredible, and the photos came out better than we could have hoped! They are a lovely couple, we loved all of our interactions with them and they captured our big day beautifully! We are so happy we went with Janae Rose Photography - it was one of the best decisions we made and we're so glad we chose them!

I cannot say enough great things about Janae and Hugo. Hugo shot our August 2023 wedding and we couldn't be happier with our experience. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Janae Rose Photography. Janae and Hugo photographed our wedding a few days ago and brought such a sense of calm on my day. They were organized, warm, helpful, and fun. They made taking pictures with large groups of people easy and made everyone feel comfortable.

They went above and beyond at every moment, including driving us to our wedding venue when we couldn’t get an Uber.

Janae and Hugo are the best photographers, they are so talented and so wonderful to work with! We really enjoyed having them capture our wedding day! My husband and I shy away from photos but they made the whole experience so great, we couldn't ask for more!! They were so organized from the very beginning; responded quickly to e-mails, offered to drive 1 hour to meet us in person to discuss the plan for our wedding day!! They went above and beyond to capture the best photos for our wedding!! Janae helped put my veil on and helped with my wedding dress several times as we were taking our photos! Hugo even dropped off the car at the valet parking for my father-in-law so that he didn't miss any of the family photos because we ran out of time! It felt as if they were part of our family that day :) All our guests were so impressed with them and our photos. There are not enough words to describe how WONDERFUL they are! We were so lucky that we found them, we highly recommend them!!!

Our engagement photos turned out beautifully, and closer to the wedding, we met up with them at a coffee shop to discuss details for our wedding day. It was clear that it was important to them that everything turned out just like we imagined. One of the best choices I made for our wedding!! Hugo and Janae are the kindest, sweetest couple and have an amazing wedding photography style! I wanted a style that was natural and timeless which is absolutely what they provided! They also make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and really make sure to capture the parts of the day you as a couple find important. My husband also accidentally left a card I wrote him with Hugo and he was kind enough to mail it back to us in time to have it when we returned from our honeymoon!
