Stop looking further. From start to finish, our experience with Jamie was unparalleled, uncommon, professional, unique, and a gift of a lifetime. Jamie goes out of her way to get to know who you are as a couple, and ask great questions ahead of any photo sessions. My husband and I were under a short timeline (4 month engagement), and she made it seamless. On the big day, the weather went from bad to worse, and I received a text from Jamie to calm my nerves and assure us that the show would go on. And boy did it ever! Despite the mist & downpour, Jamie took photos unlike I've ever seen. They capture our essence, our love - and there isn't a mediocre one in the bunch!! At our ceremony & wedding, we had equal challenges with the rain. Jamie navigated them all with grace under fire (and mud). We received EXQUISITE previews within days and final shots within weeks. They are all so amazing, I don't know how we will choose. Looking through these slowly was like re-living the event all over again. I got to see it from so many angles - moments where I wasn't there because the day goes by so quickly. It touched me so deeply. She captured the evening with such electricity, naturalness, and ease. I literally don't know how she was so many places at once!! I keep thinking to myself, "how the heck did she DO that?!"
And.. I'd be remiss not to include my father's words:

Now I know the subject matter was power-packed, but you had an eye for the telling details……an eye for moments that are not typically part of the coffee table wedding album. Jamie captured our day perfectly. She is professional but so personable, you always feel comfortable. Even though we were from Texas and had only had phone/email conversations, we felt like we'd known her for years! She helped us choose the time of day, locations and never put a rush on the day. She made sure everything was perfect. I would recommend her to anyone!

There are no words to express how happy I am that Jamie created the memories for our wedding. She couldn't have been more professional, sweet, accommodating, kind, and TALENTED! I am so happy that the memories I have of Jamie during our wedding are with me now as well as the gorgeous photos. The photos were exactly what I wanted. I remember my first conversation with Jamie about a year ahead of my wedding. She asked to speak on the phone so she could get to know a little about my husband and I. It was such a lovely conversation and I felt assured that Jamie was the photographer I wanted. She even offered to help me with other arrangements if I needed it and explained to me that she really enjoys doing what she does. Over that year, she was quick to respond with an answer to every one of my questions. She was prompt, understood everything about the vibe of the wedding, and as I got to know her, I came to admire her for the wonderful and beautiful person she is. We have even kept in touch a little and I hope to always be in touch. To say that I highly recommend Jamie as your photographer is a huge understatement. She really went above and beyond with my requests and she seemed genuinely pleased to do so. Jamie is there with you and your spouse at the most emotional times of your day and I am not sure that a lot of people have the talent to comfort you in those moments like Jamie does. She makes you feel beautiful and the pressure of being in front of a lens just does not exist when she is there. She always has a beautiful smile on her face and she is just the most talented and sweet person. You know those people you meet once in a great while and you just can't put your finger on it, but there is something deeply special about them? - Thats Jamie. I am blessed to have Jamie in my life and to have a beautiful and complete photo album of memories from one of the most important days of my life. I couldn't say enough wonderful things about Jamie and her incredible work.

I've actually seen Jamie photograph two weddings: first my sister's, then mine. They were pretty different events (mine she did our fairly casual reception, my sister's was a bigger event), and Jamie did a terrific job with each. She was a delight to work with during the planning phase--we barely had a plan, but she was on top of it. She was perfectly accommodating of our shyness, and clearly has a ton of professional knowledge. Did I mention that the photos came out great? Not only are they flattering, but she got great pictures of all the guests, too. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Jamie. She is so cool, I kind of want to be her. She made everyone feel comfortable and rolled with the punches when family decided they wanted additional staged photos (which we were trying to avoid). We got a preview of our photos after a few days, and they are STUNNING. I am so excited to receive the rest. Jamie edits every photo so I know they'll be worth the 3ish week wait. Jamie felt like an extraordinarily talented guest as opposed to a vendor. I'm sure her style (photography and in general) isn't for everyone but if you are looking for natural, in-the-moment photos from a really relaxed, amazing person, definitely contact Jamie.

Book Jamie. She's a treat to work with during all the months before the wedding, the day-of, and even after it's all said and done. Plus, the pictures are perfect.

We truly appreciated her attitude and input. Her suggestions--such as the timing for family photos, the unplugged ceremony, and the first look--were consistently on point and we loved knowing that we could trust her judgement. She even recommended our DJ! Everything surpassed our expectations for a wedding photographer.

I'm not sure where to begin in a review for someone like Jamie Fischer. I would reccomend her 100 times over, to every bride I meet.

Jamie made it a point to get to know both me & my husband before coming to shoot the wedding. She spent time talking to me about my vision for the wedding, how I felt about becoming a wife, and what our future plans were. She wanted to learn who we were as a couple, so she could accurately capture that.

The first time I met her I hugged her. I was halfway through hair & makeup, and I jumped out of my chair because I was so excited to finally meet her. From that moment forward she was professional, kind, and made me and my (very camera shy) husband feel completely comfortable.

Her work is unbelievable. But even more than that, she has an unbelievable heart. And that is exactly who I would suggest working with on a day like your wedding.

I will start off by saying that my wedding would not have been as special and as memorable without Jamie.
I contacted Jamie a little over a month prior to our ceremony (basically an elopement with 7 guests) and she responded the same day; communication, primarily via email, was addressed promptly and thoroughly. The fees quoted were quite reasonable and well worth the cost based on her beautiful portfolio.
Upon meeting Jamie (an hour prior to our ceremony) I was immediately put to ease because of her graciousness and genuineness. Neither John nor I are keen on having our photographs taken and she did an amazing job of letting us be in the moment thus allowing us to forget about the camera.
My parents, myself, and my now husband were blown away with the beauty and brilliance of the photographs we received from her one week earlier than expected. I had no idea that I could look so lovely! (Obtaining the original size files is easier than signing up for Gmail.)
Jamie has an eye for photography and such a skill at capturing the emotion and entire wedding experience that I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive, professional photographer who is nothing less than a pleasure to be around.

Jamie handled our photographer for our recent elopement, and she was awesome despite the fact that she was dealing with a couple of flaky, shy, intellectuals who hate cameras. She made both of us feel comfortable and the shots came out beautifully. They captured our essence in the most beautiful light possible, which is about as much as you can ask for. Now my wedding looks like I put actual effort into it, when I was in fact incredibly lazy because of Jamie's effort.

My husband and I hired Jamie as our wedding photographer in August of 2012. Jamie was a delight to work with! She was very organized and professional, and handled our large families with ease. We had some awkward family situations that had the potential to make family photos unpleasant for all, but with Jamie directing, everything went far smoother than I could have imagined.

She takes beautiful photos that are clean, elegant, and artistic. Her husband Reed was second shooting with her at our wedding, and he was kind enough to help put up some last minute decorations for us! We thoroughly enjoyed working with them and still love our photos dearly. Jamie's prices are very good and her work is incredible. We highly recommend her!!
