Jon did our ceiling drapery and it looked very beautiful during our reception. The style and the lights complimented our theme and all our guests said that everything looked perfect. We highly recommend J&J!

I absolutely loved the ceiling drapery that Jon did for my wedding at the Gardens at Heather Farms. It completely made the room stand out. What was awesome was that he told us he would hang up any lanterns that we gave him for free- major bonus! We did have some difficulty finding a way to get these lanterns to him as we had some scheduling issues since he was doing the draping the day before. In the end though, the ceiling looked lovely and really added to the festive atmosphere and our guests loved it!

J&J Event design is a very professional family-run business that did a great job for our wedding by providing an amazing set of string lights that really set the mood for our reception. Our wedding was held on May 12, 2017 at the Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek. Jon has a great working relationship with the venue and he was able to set up all of our string lights the night before the wedding. They turned out beautifully, but the tiny drawback there was that we never got to meet him or his team in person and get to put a face to name. We did have some other issues as well. Specifically, we checked in with Jon two weeks away from the wedding and only found out then that he had changed the way he did his lights; we had originally ordered ten string lights and he had changed them to different strands entirely. He was very nice in accommodating our request for a dimmer, but unfortunately it did not work the day of the wedding and the lights ended up flickering until we removed the dimmer ourselves.

Ultimately, the lights turned out great after we straightened out the kinks and were the highlight of some of our photos. For the overall quality of the product and the ease of access to our venue, we would recommend Jon and J&J Event Design. As a final recommendation to potential customers, try and obtain more recent photos of the lights they provide as they will look different from earlier photos online.
