Homestead Manor

We booked a private dining room at Homestead Manor for our rehearsal dinner in January. Everything was set up via email/signed contracts - a prefixed menu, bar cap, and even a holiday gift card promotion. So we were not expecting to be told when we showed up with 25 of our friends and family in tow that they did not have reservations for us. (Cue the bride having a mini meltdown and her bridesmaids running to the bar to get champagne.). However, the manager that night, Austin, was quick to come talk to us to figure out where the issue was. We showed him our email communications and our contract - where we discovered the date on the contract was for the next night and my husband and I failed to catch it because all our other emails had the correct date on them. At this point Austin could have said, “well your contract says the reservations are for tomorrow so you are out of luck” but he never even ventured near a comment like that. He simply said “we can make this work and we will make it right”. He went to talk to the chef to see if we could do a similar menu to our contract and the wait staff went to work getting the room put together for the unexpected large party. We were able to be sat in the private dining room we originally booked and were sitting down with only a reasonable postponement. Our amazing server for the evening was Justice. I am not sure if he volunteered or was told to pick up this unexpected large party but he was super kind, professional, and incredibly helpful all night. He never appeared flustered or rushed as he served 20+ people almost by himself - there was another gentlemen that assisted him but we unfortunately did not catch his name. The food and wine was absolutely amazing and everyone seemed to be enjoying the meal. Austin would come check on us periodically to ensure things were going smoothly. At some point the chef himself even came up to see how things were and the whole room thanked him for the delicious food and hospitality. Austin stayed, past his shift, until our meal was complete to ensure we were completely satisfied. We had never eaten at Homestead Manor when we lived in Nashville (we moved to Seattle shortly before our wedding) but if we still lived there we would be regulars now. The entire staff at Homestead Manor deserves praise for the professionalism, flexibility, and kindness in what was nearly a disaster on our wedding weekend. A special huge THANK YOU to Austin and Justice for making the night before our wedding a truly memorable one. We can’t recommend this place highly enough for both the food and the way they treat their guest. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our very happy little hearts - The Drapers.

We have nothing but positive to say about our experience at Homestead. Wendy was wonderfully patient with my multitude of questions on the front end and always responsive when we had questions along the way as we prepared for the wedding. As we approached the wedding day, we were comforted by the fact that we could have a beautiful indoor wedding in the barn should the rain which was forecast materialize (it didn't). We ordered the hospitality basket, which was wonderful for us to be able to nibble and sip on throughout the day of the wedding. The food was fabulous . . . from the items in the hospitality package to the reception! We truly could not have had a better experience for our daughter's wedding. Weddings are expensive, to say the least, but the money we spent on Homestead was well spent! We would recommend the venue/staff with absolutely no reservations!

My Son and daughter-in-law has the rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception all at Homestead Manor. Everything raved about the venue and so many guests came up to me and said it was the best food they have ever eaten at a weddding reception. The staff was amazing- especially Natalie and Hannah. Special thanks to Angelina Ruiz- our event planner from Velour Premiere Events. She made sure everything went smoothly. She made great suggestions, made sure all the decorations and special requests were performed. She got in touch with people when we couldn’t and had very prompt replies to our emails. It was a very hot June Wedding. The staff brought in extra fans. The girls had brunch in their cute “school house” and got ready there before the wedding and the boys all had lunch and got ready on the third floor of the manor house. We were very happy with everything. I live in Ohio and I was a little nervous about dealing with them long distance, but they handled everything. I would definitely recommend them.

Wonderful place to have a wedding. The food and service is excellent!

OCT 7 ,2017 MY KIDS HAD THEIR WEDDING HERE THIS WEEKEND. BEAUTIFUL SETTING, YOU WILL NEVER FIND A PRETTIER VENUE.
THEY HAVE A BUILDING FOR THE BRIDE AND HERPARTY TO GET MAKEUP, HAIR, AND RELAX. MAIN BUILDING FOR THE GROOM, HIS GROOMSMEN TO GET READY, RELAX, HAVE A COUPLE OF DRINKS. IT RAINED ALITTLE, SO THE WEDDING WAS DOWN BELOW IN THE LARGE BARN. EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL, UPSCALE , EXCELLENT. FOOD, DRINKS, STAFF WERE TERRIFIC. THE 2 GIRLS THAT HANDLED THE WEDDING WERE, PROFESSIONAL, PLEASENT, AND YOU DIDNT FEEL LIKE IT WAS WORK FOR THEM.SO PLEASED TO HAVE MY SON AND HIS BRIDE , HAVE THEIR ONCE IN A LIFETIME EVENT AT THE HOMESTEAD MANOR. EASY PARKING, GREAT PLACE FOR OUTSIDE AND INDIDE PHOTOS. I AM VERY PICKY, EVERYONE AT THIS BUSINESS IS EXCELLENT-ART

We highly recommend Homestead Manor for your wedding or other special event. Amy and her team made everything seem effortless, and we had many compliments about the setting, food, flowers, DJ, and pleasant efficiency of the venue staff. Our son's wedding was a night to remember and we know a large part of that is due to this magical venue and highly capable team.

The wedding was absolutely perfect! I could not have asked for a better place to get married. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. My friends and family are still talking about how smooth and beautiful everything was. I wish I could do it all over again! Amy was awesome. She was so quick to answer any questions. She was with me every step of the way!

Homestead was a picture-perfect venue for our big day and the professional service was impeccable. Abby and Amy answered all of our questions promptly and provided me every meticulous detail to help plan. Homestead is an all-inclusive venue which made the day seamless and stress free. We used the property for our engagement photos, food tasting, rehearsal dinner, and our ceremony & reception. I had no regrets to not hiring a professional wedding planner, I felt as though I didn’t need one as Abby ensured every detail was considered. I have nothing but praise for all of Homestead and their service and support; I only wish they would someday be a Bed and Breakfast as we would have loved to stay on the property longer!

Everything was beautiful, we have no complaints about working with Homestead Manor leading up to our wedding day or during our wedding day.
