History Museum at the Castle is a museum wedding venue situated in Appleton, Wisconsin. This venue, originally the site of a Masonic temple, houses exhibitions and records of Appleton and Fox Valley’s pasts. The interior measures three floors that feature museum displays, interactive presentations, and a luxury gift shop. Facilities and Capacity
Offering two main event spaces, couples can comfortably host their engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, or reception inside the stone walls of the History Museum. The Siekman Room, adjacent to the building’s foyer, boasts full-sized windows, terrazzo flooring, and French doors. This room can accommodate between 50 and 100 seated guests, and 125 standing. Stained windows crafted by local artisans border the room, while the main area suits cocktail hours and buffet setups. The museum’s Ogilvie Hall features warm wooden ceilings, vintage lighting, and a main stage. Suitable for both ceremonies and receptions, this space houses a 1926 Austin pipe organ available for guest rental. The Ogilvie Hall can host anywhere between 120 and 165 wedding guests.
