Michabelle Inn is a family-owned historic property in Hammond, Louisiana that is available as a wedding venue for couples who like that old-fashioned charm. Established in 1905, this home has been passed down through three generations of the Marcais-Bradley family, and reflects their love of elegance through the decor. The blend of antique collections with a contemporary aesthetic allows you to get the best of both worlds as you walk down the aisle.

Facilities and Capacity

Michabelle Inn sits on three acres in a quiet college town, and features a beautiful fountain right in front of the Main House. For receptions and indoor ceremonies, the Pavilion Ballroom can hold from 50 to 350 guests. The outside venue allows guests to soak up the sun as they watch the couple say their vows on the main house’s grand front porch. The private dining rooms can seat from 20 to 35 guests for wedding party dinners, showers, and more intimate ceremonies. The Bridal Dressing room is available onsite for the wedding party to prepare themselves with ease. Four guest rooms are available in the main house, while four suites can be found in the Creole Cottage adjacent to the main house. Each room has its own unique design that will make you feel like you’re traveling through time. Private parking and wheelchair accessibility are available throughout the grounds.

Services Offered

Chairs, tables, and dinnerware will be provided and set up in any formation you prefer. White linens and Chevari chairs are included. A team of talented and experienced servers and bartenders will bring the Southern hospitality that the property prides itself in. Their signature decor includes lighting, centerpieces, and antique pieces that the owners have collected over their years of travel. Bar services feature options for a champagne toast, specialty wine and beer, and creative drinks to keep the party going.

Cuisine

Co-owner David Bradley and his team of chefs will give you and your guests the taste of New Orleans and the south. He is more than happy to consult with the soon-to-be newlyweds to discuss menu options and customize meals if desired. His services include buffet style meals, sit down dinners, hors d’oeuvres, and options for the cocktail reception.
