Hillary is absolutely amazing! We connected with her from the very first conversation. We booked her for our engagement photos and our wedding, and we are SO happy that we did! Her demeanor is so warm and calming! Every time we talked to her it was like our wedding stress just melted away! She became so much more than just our photographer. She knows every in and out there is to know about weddings and is more than happy to share tips, tricks, advice, and insight (she even gave us a sample day-of timeline that was a life saver), and she makes herself extremely available to answer any questions that we had. My husband and I are both fairly camera shy, and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease. She was able to effortlessly capture our relationship on such a genuine way during both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. Obviously with all that talent, our pictures turned out GORGEOUS!!! Her and Taylor are a wonderful team who will celebrate your love with you throughout the entire journey. Hillary is excellent! One of the most important vendors at your wedding is your photographer. The photographer captures the moments, memories, and all the little details – Hillary did it all and went above and beyond! She got to know us through video calls, questionaries, and an engagement session. She was very organized throughout the planning process and wedding day. One thing that a lot of people don’t think about is the timeline portion of receiving photos. Hillary has an amazing turnaround time for sneak peeks and the full gallery.

I highly recommend an engagement shoot with Hillary. It was my favorite part of the wedding planning process. It allowed us to be one on one with Hillary without the stress of the wedding festivities. We got to meet each other in-person, get comfortable in front of the camera as a couple with Hillary, take photos in more casual clothes, and share a lot of laughs along the way. We had our engagement shoot about four months before the wedding, which was perfect timing because it got us even more excited about the wedding when the photos came back.

My favorite parts about Hillary’s images are the timeless, classic, vibrant elegance in each photo. She balances the subjects without losing color in the background. She’s able to bring in light without making it feel overpowering in the photos. My family and friends loved the photos as well. Wow wow wow! We chose Hillary Shedd Photography because of her true color/natural style photos. We wanted timeless photos that we'd love for years to come. She really listened to what we wanted in wedding photos and gave us the most raw, real moment photos of our closest friends, family, and overall our best day ever.

We'd recommend Hillary a million times and are so grateful for everything she did to capture our day!

I booked Hillary and Taylor as my engagement and wedding photographers and I am so happy I did! Prior to pictures we were provided a preferred vendor list that helped us book other vendors and even additional materials such as engagement outfits ideas, locations, what to include for your details box on the wedding day, and many others! I loved this aspect as they know all this better than we do and can use all the help we can get. For the engagement photos we got stuck in the rain and we still had a great time and the images turned out great. They even provided some hot chocolate for after, the small details. For the wedding I was really happy with the planning items such as the questionnaires and meeting to make sure we were all on the same page and that we all had what we needed. This included her help to finalize my timeline and get her thoughts on it. Then on the wedding day Hillary and Taylor did their thing and I didn't need to worry about a thing, just enjoy the day. Everything ran smooth and we had a great time. The end result was better than we could of imagined and I would highly recommend. In fact, one of my bridesmaids ended up booking her after seeing my engagement photos and would also give her 5 stars.
