Highland Bakery Catering did an amazing job for our wedding cupcake cake. They definitely had the best tasting cupcakes when we were trying different bakeries out, and the price point was great too! They also gave us much more flexibility than other places in picking out the flavor combinations we wanted. We worked closely with Angie to plan the cupcakes and topper cake. She was very responsive and had several good ideas - like matching cupcake liners and using pearls to make the tiers of cupcakes look more uniform, she even helped me select a solid reasonably priced cupcake stand on Etsy! I liked that the delivery fee was based on mileage - that was a great savings since we were getting married near the bakery. We got so many compliments on the cupcakes - there were hardly any left and at one point there was a line for the cupcakes! I wish I had gotten a picture of that! We look forward to going back every year to get cupcakes for our anniversary!

PS Highland Bakery Catering also made an amazing caramel cheese cake recently for my husbands birthday! DELICIOUS!

We often have Highland Bakery cater events for my office, and their coffee carts at Georgia Tech are the only thing that got me through late night studios as a student. I also love to grab brunch here on the weekends.

So when my husband and I began to hunt for a rehearsal dinner location for our wedding, we were both delighted to find that Highland Bakery's Highland Ave location hosts evening dinners! If you hit a ~$2k food purchase minimum, the venue rental fee is waived (even with generous breakfast-for-dinner buffet for 65 people we were under that, so they added on a ton of pastries for desserts at our wedding so we'd hit it! Wonderful folks). Equipment and staff costs are also flat fee and super reasonable. It's also BYOB, so you save a TON of money versus renting out a regular restaurant. My father in law brought a little microphone and speaker setup for speeches, and my husband was able to plus his tablet playlist into the restaurant's speaker system for music throughout the night.

Adelina was phenomenal to work with in the planning process (and was super patient with us, too, as we explored menu options!). Candice was an incredible manager on the night-of, and had even added some decor to match our wedding theme after hearing about it from Adelina - that was SO special to us. Each server was so kind and attentive. On top of all of this, everyone raved and raved about how delicious the food was! Highly, highly recommend.

YUM!!! Our groom's cake was so delicious! The art work was beautiful (it was a golf themed cake). They delivered on time and were friendly during the planning process. They even packed a "to-go" tasting because our schedules were conflicting. Great vendor to work with.

I asked for a Chinese dragon head and gave Karen Portaleo complete creative freedom after that. I only had them make a small cake for us to cut into, so I am simply reviewing the design and not the main serving cake. When I saw the dragon head for the first time, I was completely astounded. It was more amazing than anything I could have imagined. We have so many pictures of it in our album because it was absolutely beautiful. This came from the same woman who has won several cake challenges on the food network. She is an amazingly talented artist. If you want the most beautiful and creative cake in the world, get it from the Highland Bakery.

PERFECT! Got the grooms cake here and it was awesome!!! A little pricey but worth every penny. They were even able to have the cake available at a different location to make it easier for me to pick up. Everything they make is perfection(even lunch)

We worked with Julie at the Highland Bakery to make 5 different flavors of cupcakes for our wedding. One particular flavor was not on their menu, but they made a couple of attempts at it for the tastings until we were completely satisfied. Everything was delicious, promptly delivered, exactly as described in the contract, and well communicated. They did a great job. Highly recommended!

We used mini cupcakes so that we could have many different flavors. Price was great and the cupcakes were a HUGE hit. GREAT taste too!

My wedding cake looked gorgeous and tasted great! The cake artists worked with me to create something that was both unique and special to us, incorporating themes from our wedding and our personalities.

The cutting cake and cupcakes that we had from Highland Bakery were amazing. Our guests loved the variety of flavors and they really added something special to the night. The only negative was that the cutting cake was supposed to be vanilla cake with oreo frosting and it was delivered as chocolate cake with oreo frosting. It wasn't a huge issue, but it would have been nice to have more variety since we already had chocolate/oreo frosting cupcakes.
