Heritage Ranch is a beautiful rustic wedding venue located in Sedalia, Missouri. We're conveniently located just an hour from Lee's Summit/Independence & Columbia/Jefferson City area. This venue boasts an authentic timber barn with rustic charm and modern amenities. Heritage Ranch is nestled amid lush trees adjacent to a pond with a dock perfect for pictures! Bistro lighting inside and outside make this property sparkle and invite you and your guests to stay a while and create beautiful memories together! Heritage Ranch is ideal for ceremonies, receptions, sitting by the fire pit, and for watching fireworks. This venue is perfect for any country wedding. This property is a must see in person!

Facilities and Capacity
Heritage Ranch can accommodate up to 350 guests. The barn is filled with handmade farmhouse tables, seating, barrels, romantic string lights and chandeliers. A bridal suite and groom's cabin are also included.

The Best!!

Heritage Ranch was absolutely perfect for our wedding! Great location, beautiful inside and outside, plenty of parking, and phenomenal staff. Jeff and Kim are the best of the best and made our entire experience unforgettable. They were extremely helpful and supportive of whatever we needed. We could not have asked for anything better!

Wonderful place & family!

My husband and I fell in love with the beautiful barn for a rustic country wedding feel. Sara and her husband Josh were both great to deal with. They were very responsive to any questions I had. The day of was perfect, and everything I dreamed of. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to tie the knot.

Sara is absolutely amazing and is extremely flexible to work with! She stays in contact with you and sends you reminders leading up to the day. I’m so glad we picked this venue to start our new journey as husband and wife. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without heritage ranch and the beautiful, kind hearted people that own it. Thank you Howell family for making our day so special! ❤️

I could not have asked for a better wedding venue to host our special day! The barn is amazing and Sara and her husband are so great to work with! They were so helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions and they have tons of awesome rental items you can use in the barn! I highly recommend them for any event that you are looking for an awesome venue for!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding! Everything turned our perfect and Sarah was so helpful! The barn she has that allows you to rent decor is amazing for anything you don't want to buy or any last minute things you forgot. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Beyond Disappointed

This was the first venue I looked out and fell in love with. I didn’t realize what a huge mistake I made. Sara has been the most unprofessional business I have came in contact with. Several of her comments were utterly disrespectful and rude. I was dumb founded by the way she talked to me while I was trying to learn more about how COVID-19 was going to effect me and my wedding. She was not flexible in anyway and was quite rude when asked certain questions. I highly recommend going somewhere else for your wedding.
