Country Club Wedding Venues in Charleston

Our wedding was held at the old Harbour Club location back in 2019 (ceremony/cocktail hour on rooftop, reception on lower level room). The venue was in a FANTASTIC location..not sure where the new one is. Overall, our wedding was beautiful and everything ran smoothly. We got many compliments on the food and bar service so that's HUGE. Communication with the event coordinator was a little tough at times, but when we did connect she was SO helpful. Only downside is that I think because the venue was moving there were some building issues they didn't keep top of mind (tops of lights missing on rooftop and at entrance..), but shouldn't be an issue in the new location.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Pawleys Plantation at the end of March and everything was absolutely perfect. The venue is beyond stunning, both inside and out, and I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. The entire staff was so welcoming, accommodating, and happy to celebrate along with us. Annie and Tracey arranged my flowers for all the events and I couldn’t be happier with how they looked. From the rehearsal dinner, to the cocktail hour, and to the plated reception meals, the food was well prepared and thoroughly enjoyed by us and our guests. Every detail at the rehearsal, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was perfect and our experience could not have been any better. Annie, the event coordinator, has been such a calming presence since the first time I met her and her guidance & assistance throughout the entire process was truly incredible. She really, truly goes above and beyond with such ease. When we found out the wedding cake we ordered was not delivered, Annie had replacement cakes at the venue almost immediately. I am so thankful for everything Annie did for me and my wedding, and anyone would be lucky to have her as their wedding event coordinator. I can’t recommend Pawleys Plantation and Annie enough - the absolute best place to get married in the area.

Brayer and her team were amazing start to finish! The food was fantastic the views of Spanish moss and the intercostal waterway made for the perfect backdrop for our big day! It was beautiful from start to finish, professionalism was top notch and the bartending and serving staff were accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend this venue!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Choosing Wild Wing Golf Course for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, we felt supported, heard, and genuinely cared for. Devon, the Food and Beverage Manager, was exceptional—warm, accommodating, communicative, and professional every step of the way. Her attention to detail and calm guidance gave us complete peace of mind during such an important moment in our lives. The wait staff and chef were truly outstanding. Their level of attentiveness and professionalism did not go unnoticed—our guests came to us throughout the evening to share how impressed they were. The service was seamless, thoughtful, and heartfelt, making everyone feel welcomed and well cared for. And the food—absolutely unforgettable. The hors d’oeuvres and dinner were delicious, beautifully prepared, and elevated the entire celebration. Wild Wing Golf Course didn’t just host our wedding; they helped create memories we will cherish forever. We are incredibly grateful and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wow! This place is incredible and I cannot emphasize the price transparency enough. They include everything (food, top shelf alcohol, gratuity, service charge, linens, dishware, tables, chairs, ceremony chairs, set up/take down, etc.) and give you a final quote for what you will be paying-no strings attached, no changes or "upcharges because prices of food/alc may go up in a year". I cannot say the same for any of the other vendors I painstakingly met with and tried to pry out a price range for. Michelle was so responsive with all of the wedding questions I had and walked us through food and table layout. The bridal getting ready suite was INSANE-champagne on tap and an entire building for the girls-the only suggestion I have is bring your own mirrors. The bridal suite lines right up to where you will walk for the ceremony. It was great. And there was even a groom getting ready suite. That was very important to me since that is where you will be spending most of your day! The ceremony views were perfect-we had dolphins in the background and heard the tranquil sound of waves throughout our whole ceremony. The ceremony space was an easy walk to the reception. Overall this venue gave enough flexibility without contributing to decision fatigue. Total cost for 115 guests with an additional hour (5:30 PM - 10:30 PM) was $28k. That is including ceremony, reception, champagne toast, hors d'oeuvres, unlimited guest top-shelf alcohol from 5:30-10:30, plated 3 course meal, tastings, linens, ceremony set up and take down, dancefloor, etc. We only had to spend like $500 on decorations because the venue was so elegant and picturesque already. No other Charleston venue/catering that I previously met with (and I met with 15-20 other venues) told me the final cost like Seabrook Island Club did. Seabrook Island Club knows their package is worth it and they don't try to sell it for anything less by omitting gratuity/taxes/service charges.

The citadel beach club has a beautiful well maintained venue, but from day 1 of planning Micheal, the property manager was so helpful, flexible and accommodating to assist with making sure the day went great! Even helping guests with umbrella when it rained right before the ceremony, above and beyond!

My husband and I would give Pine Lakes 15 stars if we could!! We got married at Pine Lakes on October 4, 2024 and EVERYTHING from golf the morning of the wedding to the clean up at the end of the night surpassed our expectations. We knew early on we wanted a venue that spoke to why we love Myrtle Beach so much, and Pine Lakes Country Club does exactly that. The historic beauty of this venue speaks from the parking lot, literally taking your breath away as soon as you drive up. Inside, the ballrooms perfectly combine history and romance; you can actually FEEL the love within the walls. We opted to have our ceremony out back beneath the patio, perfectly nuzzled between the beautiful garden and the 10th hole. The ceremony went off flawlessly, despite the last minute changes we needed to accompany our guests. Lindsay Condelli and her team went ABOVE and BEYOND at every single turn, never showing any stress and always thinking one step ahead. Lindsay is truly THE BEST at what she does, she deserves 500 stars out of 10. She felt more like an older sister than a vendor, supporting my husband and I throughout the entire process. Our guests are STILL raving about how delicious our buffet was! It was honestly the best food I have ever had at a wedding (and I’m not just saying that because it was mine!!) Mary Bell and her team curate hundreds of options for cuisine - from sit down options to individual stations, Pine Lakes really has it all. We opted for the Southern BBQ Buffet and added on Mashed Potatoes which were the SMASH HIT of the evening. The ribs and fried chicken were incredible and even our grandmas raved about the mac and cheese! Since we were out of town guests, we weren’t able to taste any of the food beforehand and we were seriously blown away. We are SO lucky to look back on our big day and only have good things to say about Pine Lakes Country Club. THANK YOU LINDSAY, MARY, AND THE ENTIRE TEAM AT PINE LAKES, we are forever grateful

We loved, loved, loved our experience at Dunes West! Jason, Pam, and the entire staff went above and beyond not just on our wedding day, but throughout the entire planning process. Jason answered every single question I had (and there were a lot!) with patience and kindness. He is truly a gem of a human, and the same goes for Pam and the rest of the team. Even being three hours away, we always felt completely comfortable and confident because of how communicative, organized, and caring they were. The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect because of them. Everything flowed seamlessly, they made sure we always had food and drinks, even setting up a short private dinner for us to take it all in together. They anticipated every need, took care of every detail, and made sure our guests were happy the entire time. We were nervous about the weather, but Jason was incredibly flexible and reassuring. He was ready to wait until the very last second before moving the ceremony indoors if needed, which gave us so much peace of mind. Thankfully, the weather held out, but knowing we were in such capable hands made all the difference. And the venue itself? STUNNING. The scenery, the atmosphere, everything was picture-perfect. I could go on and on, but truly, if you’re considering this venue, do it. You will not regret it.

This was truly an amazing venue and we had a perfect wedding! The event planner Trae went above and beyond. Not to mention the food, my gosh, my guests could not stop raving about the food that the country club catered! I couldn’t be happier with my experience. If you’re on the fence, book here! You’ll be so happy you did!
