Welcome to Charleston’s most established ensembles with the finest professional musicians. We perform for every type of event at the most beautiful venues the Lowcountry has to offer!


Unwind Duo: cello and guitar. Unique instrumentation performing classical ceremony music, jazz standards, and instrumental classic rock. Unwind Duo is available for ceremonies, cocktail music, rehearsal dinners, and receptions. Professional sound amplification included.

La Mer Duo: violin or flute and cello. Classical ceremony music and upbeat classical/ jazz blend for cocktail music.


Charlestowne Trio: flute, violin and cello. Classical ceremony music and upbeat classical/ jazz blend for cocktail music.

Archetype Quartet: two violins and viola and cello. Classical ceremony music and upbeat classical/ jazz cocktail music.

Helen and her team of musicians are so talented and professional. We used the cello and guitar for our ceremony at the church and then also for the cocktail hour of our reception. The choices that they offer are perfect, and I chose most of them, but I had my heart set on a recessional song that they did not normally do. Helen learned “Bittersweet Symphony” just for us and it turned out amazing! If you are looking for classical music during your event, I would recommend Helen wholeheartedly.

Helen and Steve with the Unwind Duo were so great to work with. My (now!) husband and I had a unique song request for our recessional, and they were more than willing to accommodate our request. Our guests still talk about how much they added to our ceremony. Great team-beautiful music!

Helen and Steve played absolutely BEAUTIFUL music on my wedding day. I chose to have the Unwind Duo perform during my ceremony, and I couldn't have asked for anything more elegant. They were very helpful throughout the planning process, making sure to check in with me periodically to see if I had any questions and to offer help selecting music. The performance went perfectly, and the compliments on the beautiful ceremony music were endless. I highly recommend Helen Greenfield Cello to all Bride's looking for an unforgettable ceremony experience.

Helen provided beautiful music for our daughter's wedding. Our wedding planner recommended Helen because she knew of her vast experience. We were extremely pleased.
