We decided to go with The HBCC for our reception because of the location, pricing and that since we had a small wedding (50 incl the wedding party) it is actually quite difficult to find a venue in the GTA that accommodates a small group and we were very happy with the results! The Water’s Edge Wedding Package price and what it included was amazing! Below are some of the items (yes, only some!) that it included. The HBCC also had a great variety of wines to choose from and one of the wine vendors Tintern Ridge even included personalized wine labels and great tasting wine to boot! Arlene from the OCC helped us with the coordination at both the OCC and the HBCC and was extremely helpful and had great attention to detail!
Passed Hor D'Ouerves: Pulled Pork Sliders with Crispy Onions, Coconut Shrimp, Beef Wellington with a Garlic
Aioli, Bruschetta with mozzarella and Balsamic Glaze.
Mains included: Yukon Gold Potato Bisque with goat cheese croute, Bowtie in an Asiago Blush Sauce, Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Tenderloin Medallion with Red Wine & Porcini Jus (Medium) served with Parisenne Potatoes and Seasonal Roasted Vegetables Roasted Garlic & Leek Stuffed Chicken Supreme with a Pesto Cream Sauce, Bowls of mixed greens to the tables with a balsamic Vinaigrette. Unfortunately there isn’t a place operated by the HBCC on-site to have your wedding ceremony but there is a gazebo within walking distance. We waited too long to obtain the permit for this location and some else booked it so we booked our ceremony at the OCC on their outside patio which was perfect! The HBCC even had a back-up plan in case of inclement weather that we could get married in our reception room looking out at the marina! We would highly recommend both of these venues and Arlene for any special event!
