We moved our wedding to Hangar 97 a few months before our date due to COVID. Even though we were the first wedding at this venue, it could not have been a better decision. The venue is a large open space that was able to accommodate our guest list. It also gave us and our wedding planner the freedom to turn the space into anything we wanted. The owner of the venue, Chris, was always available (even the day of) to make sure we had everything that we needed. He was kind enough to have some planes around that we could take pictures with, which were unique and beautiful. The areas for getting ready had everything we needed. The bathrooms were even stocked with essentials - ibuprofen, deodorant, hair supplies, etc. During the event, we were able to appreciate the sunset by opening the large hangar door to give us an indoor/outdoor flow. Chris even helped set it up for us to make a grand exit in a helicopter, which was unforgettable. There are so many unique features to this venue I could go on forever. Anyone who is wanting a wedding that they can truly make into anything they desire, I highly recommend this venue! It was a great experience and I could not have imaged our wedding day any better.

September 16th was or big day. Just like Chris said the venue was cleared out and ready for us to start our big day at 8 AM. It was great working with Amanda and Chris, they helped me bring my vision to life. I would absolutely recommend this venue. Thank you so much for being apart of my special day.

As a wedding planner, we work with a lot of different venues, but finding a venue that is as invloved in the entire planning process as the team at Airplane Hangar 97 can be hard to come by! From day one, both Chris and Amanda were easy to communicate with, gave great suggestions to ensure a smooth day, and were willing to help out wherever needed. If you are looking for a venue to host a high end event or wedding, I would highly recommend working with the Airplane Hangar 97!

Wonderful venue! Being at an airport for a wedding was simply awesome! The planes landing and taking off were so fun to see. The venue was gorgeous - staff was super friendly and helpful!
