Hal was wonderful to work with! Very responsive with both emails and phone calls. Gave him a few suggestions of what to play before the big day, but he made the dance floor come to life. We had one of the most packed dance floors that I’ve ever seen at a wedding, which to me makes it a success. Very reasonably priced and well worth it. Thanks Hal!!!

Hal DJ'd our wedding recently and everything was perfect. We had a very specific list of songs that we wanted to hear and not only did he make sure that they were all played, he did an excellent job with pacing things and keeping the party going! Hal was friendly, fun, and incredibly easy to work with. We've received several compliments about the music that was played. I'd recommend him for any event.

Hal is AWESOME!!! We used Hal as our DJ for our October wedding at Foxhall and I can not say enough wonderful things about him. He DJ'd our ceremony and reception and everything was perfect. Prior to the wedding Hal provides you with a request form for the ceremony and reception, and he did a great job at following our wishes. We had some friends at the wedding getting married next year and they couldn't get over to Hal quick enough to try and book him. Atlanta brides.. Hal's your guy!

Hal was awesome--he's super friendly, well organized, and followed our song requests to the T. He provided the music for our ceremony, set up speakers to play in the background of our cocktail hour, and provided the music for the reception and everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend him!

DJ Hal was awesome! Hal came recommended to us by our venue coordinator, and we're so happy that we were able to secure him for our wedding. He was always responsive to emails, and whenever we needed to chat in person or on the phone, he made himself available. Hal played exactly what we wanted during the cocktail hour (and guests noticed!), and he definitely had people up and dancing all night with the great mix of songs (a combination of what we asked for and a few he mixed in)...and not to worry...he made sure not to play anything on our "do not play" list! :) The nice thing about Hal is that we were never caught off guard, because he made sure to come up to us and let us know when to expect certain things, and he always made sure we were ready (ie: father/daughter and mother/son dances, bouquet toss, etc.).

We received compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was, so again, we're really happy we chose him. Thanks for making our wedding day one to remember!

I would highly recommend Hal. My wedding was this past Saturday, September 1, 2012, and Hal was absolutely wonderful! Our wedding was during the day, and was intended to be more like a small, elegant luncheon, than a big party. We wanted almost all Jazz, which I was worried he wouldn’t have a large selection of, but Hal had it all, and got his hands on what he didn’t. He worked both the ceremony and the reception, showed up super early , got all setup for both, and got the groom and officiant mic’d (which I asked for). Being overly detailed-oriented, I actually provided an entire song list to Hal with instructions of when to play each song (e.g., cocktail hour, during lunch, dancing, etc). He didn’t have any questions and didn’t have to be managed. He just showed up and did his job perfectly. He even downloaded songs real-time when some of our family members requested music to sing to. Hal was very professional and fit in perfectly with our very classy wedding. He understood the type of wedding we were looking for and did a perfect job fitting into our vision, and making our day exactly what we were looking for. Thinking about a live Jazz band, but can’t afford it? Use Hal instead. You will get everything you wanted in the live band and more.

DJ Hal came as a personal recommendation from two of my closest friends, and they did not steer me wrong! Hal listened to our general requests and created a reception that met our style; he was responsive, professional, and, above all, able to gauge the crowd to make it a FUN reception. Even my husband's most conservative family members were on the dance floor by the end of the evening. Hal entertained us all night long. Thanks partially to him, all of our guests seemed to have a great time at the wedding. The dance floor was hopping all night long and everyone was smiling. Hal consulted with us to find out what type of music we liked and didn't like and was respectful of our choices and played the music we, and our guests, wanted to hear.
