About the Owner

Grassroots Vintage Wedding & Event Rentals is owned and operated by Mikiala Tucker, better known as "Miki", a collector of vintage items since she was a child and a continuous hoarder of everything vintage, industrial, and farmhouse chic. As her passion grew in finding items with a story and in refurbishing items to be re-loved, she realized that a business was in the making. With the help of her husband, Chris, they travel all over the place to garage sales, auctions, flea markets, and random "picking" spots bringing you the most impressive inventory to choose from for your special event.

It was in planning her own wedding, almost 12 years ago, that she decided this is what she wanted to do. So during the years, in between having babies and "life", Miki has been perfecting on her skills in designing, styling, organizing, and creating. For many years before she created Grassroots, she has worked and styled events for friends and family...and family friends. Now she has the pleasure of doing what she loves full time.

Event Styling

Our approach to the wedding and event planning process is that we take an aesthetic approach. We let our creative process dictate the styling of your wedding or event through a thorough interview with our clients. We take pride in making sure each event is unique.

Event Planning

You want to be able to enjoy and take in your event without the headaches and stress. We will manage all of the details, from the budget to the favors. We have a range of services we provide starting at Full Coordination to Day-of-Coordination.

A La Carte Rentals

We provide rentals for any event from Victorian sofas, buffets, vintage china, banners, to chalkboards. We have an extensive inventory and if we don't have it, we will find it for you. We refurbish pieces as well and can custom orders. Delivery, pick up, set up, and tear down are also available.

Photo Shoots

Our rentals aren't just for wedding or events, we cater to photographers too! For the busy photographer, we offer our styling services as well and delivery and pick up are also available.
