    Handmade Wedding Bands

My husband and I had a fantastic experience making our wedding rings for each other with Cat. She was friendly and helpful when we needed her but also let us chat and have an experience together. I can’t recommend her class enough and the rings turned out absolutely gorgeous!

Cat McCadden
Cat McCadden
Owner + Designer

Cat's jewelry practice is inspired by where the city meets the sea. Working with traditional metalsmith fabrication techniques and the lost wax casting process, her jewelry has a hybrid contemporary style with textural motifs and lively depictions of oceanic forms.

Cat has been teaching the VOW Workshop, where couples of all backgrounds, identities and abilities gather to carve their own wedding rings since 2017. Cat’s mission is to use her creative artistry and knowledge of jewelry construction to help you both to create your own unique wedding rings. She deeply cares about the experience of carving the rings be as significant to the couple as the rings themselves.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Cat McCadden earned her BA in art history from Binghamton University before going on to study art direction at the Circus School, and honed her technical jewelry-making skills at Pratt Fine Arts Center and North Seattle Community College.
