Writing this review a year late! We got married on 5/26/22 at Gorges and we had the best experience ever. The staff and crew really put their all into helping us have the best wedding reception. Our friends and family still talk about how great the food was - and we still talk about thankful we are to gorges for all they did on our special day. Would get married here a hundred times over if I could!

After quite a bit of venue searching, we stumbled across Gorges online and it seemed to hit all the marks we were looking for our wedding night -  a beautiful outdoor spot that shows off a piece of the PNW we love. We weren’t able to travel to OR before booking our date but Kelli worked with us in sending so many photos/video so we felt comfortable knowing exactly what we were getting. We were quickly sold on having our ceremony at The Cove and the beauty of the Gorges Venue. Having food and beverage in house was the cherry on top that made it all so easy!
From planning to rehearsal to the big day, Kelli, Travis, and the team were spot on. Everything was covered and ran seamlessly and smooth. After our ceremony and busing back to the venue, Kelli was waiting for us with signature drinks in hand -  just one example of above the top thoughtfulness we received. Her team cleaned up and held all of our items for our pick up the next day. Everything was delicious and we got SO many compliments on everything!
I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone and would do it all again 100% in a heartbeat! 

I’m so glad we went with Gorges for our wedding. They really tried to make sure everything was exactly what we needed, even being willing to change exactly how our wedding was laid out because of surprise heat wave at the last minute if it was necessary. We also chose to have our ceremony at Government Cove nearby, which was beautiful, and the signage provided by Gorges helped no one get lost. I also really appreciated their willingness to have multiple in person meetings to discuss the layout/parking situation. Perfect outdoorsy and relaxed wedding! We are SO happy we chose Gorges for our wedding venue! Kelli and Travis were great to work with - we especially loved Kelli’s professionalism AND laid-back vibe. (She gets things done but doesn’t seem stressed about it) Here’s what we loved about our wedding:
The setting. It really is breathtaking. We didn’t use any extra decor for the ceremony because it wasn’t necessary. We also loved the flow of the lawn, bar, and tent. All so beautiful!
The food and drinks were delicious!
We had a blast. We booked an after party in the brewery, and it was so much fun - and quite easy to go from the tent into the brewery.
The staff. We only heard great things about how easy they were to work with.
In short, Gorges provided the wedding of our dreams - a beautiful PNW setting with great food and drinks and the ease we needed so we could focus on connecting and celebrating with our people.

My son and his bride chose a reception venue near Cascade Locks, OR for their wedding last fall (150 guests). My task was to find a place for the rehearsal dinner and Welcome Party. Since I live in WI, I was unable to familiarize myself with the area. I scrolled the Internet, feeling anxious, searching for just the right place.
Then a photo of Gorges Beer Company caught my eye. It showed a sunny social room with a large bar and glass garage doors opening onto a patio with lovely mountain views. I immediately called Gorges to learn more about the facilities. Travis, one of the owners, answered the telephone. From our first conversation, he was knowledgeable, upfront and willing to accommodate our needs. I found It very reassuring that Gorge Beer Company had a lot of experience hosting all types of weddings. Since all our guests were from out-of-town, I decided to add an After-Party following the reception on the second night.

I worked with Kelli, the Catering Manager, to develop the menus for our events. Kelli is creative, detail-oriented, personable and in a word – AMAZING! I loved her enthusiasm and unique ideas to make my food selections special. We decided the rehearsal dinner (family members) would start with an open bar on the patio with passed appetizers. Gorges provided bistro tables, string lights and cocktail hour music (and the beautiful view!). The gathering room was arranged in a U-shape with banquet tables covered with tablecloths and place settings (provided), candles and centerpieces (I brought). Once everyone was seated, we did toasts and played the bridal couple’s wedding “story” on the video monitor supplied by Gorges. The bartenders (2) and waitstaff were efficient and professional. Once dinner was completed, the rest of the guests arrived for drinks and a buffet. It was such a fun night! It gave families and friends the chance to get acquainted the night before the wedding.

The next day was a busy one with the ceremony and reception taking place across the toll bridge in Stevenson, WA. Kelli was so kind to make cupcakes and personally deliver them to the reception hall. Around 10:30pm that night, guests travelled Gorges Beer Company for the After-Party. They enjoyed a light buffet of sandwiches and drinks as they socialized and played foosball on the main level.

For all our events, Kelli was on top of logistics from start to finish, which I really appreciated. It allowed me to focus on our guests. The staff took great care of our guests; the food was delicious, and the drinks were perfect. Travis and the other owners of Gorges Beer Company can take great pride in their team!

This was the perfect location for me and my husbands rehearsal dinner! Great food, drinks, and views of the gorge! Especially loved the string lighting on the balcony as it got dark. All of our guests raved about this venue! Highly recommend!

When we were looking for a wedding venue, we wanted something easy and open that didn’t lock us into a super traditional wedding day. Gorges is, pun intended, gorgeous, and fully supported our vision for a relaxed, easy wedding day. 90% of our guests were traveling in, so the close proximity to Portland and the airport was ideal. It certainly didn’t feel like we were close to the city, though — our guests were blown away by the mountain and river views on the patio. We’re big foodies and love craft beer, and were pleased with both the quality of the food and bev and the all-inclusive packages they put together.

The star of Gorges, both as a brewery and as a wedding venue, is the owner, Travis. His kindness and transparency is a much-needed balm to the stress and confusion of wedding planning. He’s an excellent communicator and problem-solver — the issues we ran into would be resolved by the end of a conversation with him.

If you’re also looking for a beautiful, relaxed wedding venue with incredible food, in a great location, Gorges Beer Co is the venue for you.

I cannot say enough positive things about Gorges Beer Co. We had our wedding at their venue in Cascade Locks and it was absolutely amazing! Travis, Kelli and their team were a pleasure and so easy to work with as well as extremely professional throughout the whole process. I love that personal details offered for your special day (Names above the bar/ choice of beer and wine/ allowed to have an ice cream cart at the venue 😄) as well as they take care of pretty much everything!! The venue is stunning, all of our guests still comment on how beautiful it is there. The food was amazing and overall such a special and fun day!!

My partner and I hosted a welcome party for 140 people at Gorges Beer Co. the night before our wedding. From the beginning, the Gorges Beer Co. team was responsive, flexible and helpful. The night of the event went very smoothly. The food was DELICIOUS (that chicken sandwich tho) and the service was great.

My husband and I booked Gorges Beer Co. for a wedding reception in July 2022. The event space is on a hill above the brewery and the views of the Gorge are absolutely gorgeous. Gorges Beer Co. is also a great venue for any event. They were incredibly collaborative and accommodating when we had requests that went outside the scope of their typical event package. I highly recommend!
