This venue is absolutely stunning! It was perfect for our special day. I wanted a ceremony outside and indoor/outdoor reception and it worked out perfect! There’s plenty of space for the bride and bridesmaids as well as groom and groomsmen to get married, and I loved that!

I knew our wedding at Goodwood would be gorgeous, but it was even more gorgeous than I had imagined. The setting is beautiful. The location is ideal. The ceremony under the huge live oak trees was stunning. The cottages that are available for getting ready before the wedding were perfect. I loved being able to arrive in the morning and do everything right on site. The carriage house and courtyard are great spaces where your guests can mingle and never feel cramped. The staff at Goodwood were very helpful as well. You will not regret choosing this location for your wedding! Your photos will be beautiful and your guests will have a great time at a great, in town location!

It's been my dream since the sixth grade to get married at Goodwood Museum & Gardens. Fast forward 15+ years later and that dream actually came true, with the venue just as beautiful as it was back them. We had our ceremony outside on the front lawn directly in front of the house and then had our cocktail hour and reception in the Carriage House and its courtyard. Everything was simply magical. The venue is conveniently located in the heart of town, so our guests didn't have to worry about traveling 20-30 minutes there and back on top of struggle to find a nearby hotel. Also, although the venue is stunning by itself with no decor (the all-wood Carriage House is to die for!), Goodwood is sort of a blank slate, which allows you to decorate it however you'd like to fit any theme! I cannot recommend booking this venue enough.

Everything about Goodwood is PERFECT! We had the best experience at this venue. We loved working with Joann. She is incredibly accommodating and so easy to work with. I would recommend this wedding venue to anyone!

Perfect wedding venue. We initially planned to have our ceremony under the sweeping oak branches in front of the plantation house, but when rain became inevitable, we were able to move the ceremony into the beautiful carriage house, where the reception then effortlessly unfolded following the ceremony. Also had beautiful cottage houses on site where the bride and bridesmaids, as well as the groom and groomsmen, could get ready for the day. Endless opportunities for gorgeous photographs full of southern charm.

As the mother of the bride in the post-hurricane wedding Kate just described, I want to second her praise for Goodwood. It is a beautiful rain or shine venue. Their ability to transform the grounds and facility in such a short amount of time post-hurricane was impressive and much appreciated, as was JoAnn's attention to detail ( both at the time, and during the year leading up to the wedding). Her knowledge of other vendors and vision of how things could come together was invaluable. I would highly recommend Goodwood.

Goodwood is a picturesque property in central Tallahassee; it is the ideal location to get married at in Tallahassee if you are desiring the outdoor, natural setting for your wedding. The big oak trees and spanish moss are just a few highlights of the property; it is the epitome of North Florida Charm. JoAnn, the director of events at Goodwood, was super helpful and informative throughout the whole process.
2 days prior to our wedding, category 4 Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle. Despite much damage and destruction, JoAnn was calm and incredibly professional; she called me a few days before our wedding to check in on how we were doing and to let us know that she and her staff would do all they could to clean up the property post-hurricane. After the hurricane hit, the grounds' keepers at Goodwood and their team worked incredibly hard to clean up the tree limbs/branches and debris on the property to make our wedding as beautiful as possible. The Goodwood staff did not let the hurricane get in their way in the least- they were extremely professional and went above and beyond! Thank you so much for helping make our wedding so incredibly stunning!! In spite of Hurricane Michael, the day was absolute perfection!

Absolutely loved using Goodwood for our wedding reception and the laundry cottage for getting ready the day of! It turned out beautiful in photos, and the space was perfect for a little under 200 guests.

If you are seeking beautiful "Old Florida" southern charm with cascading oaks and native flowering gardens Goodwood Museum and Gardens is the wedding venue to choose. They provide a quaint cottage for the bride and attendants to get pampered and dressed in. They ceremony sites are decorated with large mossy draped oaks and the plantation mansion peeks through for a lovely back drop. The Carriage house on the grounds provide just enough rustic flair and ample room for a beautiful reception. The staff was kind and one even stayed late after the reception to wait for a guest car key.
