Adhari was absolutely awesome! I am a person who does not wear a lot of make-up so when I contacted Adhari, I told her that I wanted my make-up to look beautiful and natural for my wedding. I also showed her a few pictures of the look that I wanted. She took my input and she nailed it! My make-up was simple, classic and beautiful!!!! Just the way I wanted for my wedding day!
She also did my mom, my sister and my bridesmaids' make-up and everyone looked fantastic!

THANK YOU so much for doing the make-up on 10/2. As you know, my girls just absolutely adored you, and they were so happy you were onsite with us that day. They- and I- trusted you completely. They all felt and looked gorgeous- they talked about it all day/night.

Adhari blew my expectations away when it came to my make-up. The trial was beautiful, but the day-of make-up was just so insanely gorgeous, bridal, beautiful, you name it. It was off the charts. She helped me feel so beautiful- on the most important day! And she was able to accommodate my nervousness, which is just another testament to her expertise and professionalism.

I haven't seen many professional pics yet, but from what I saw, my makeup was just gorgeous. And most importantly, I knocked my groom's socks off, lol. He thought I looked so beautiful- he was so happy. Thank you.

I cannot explain how happy I was with Adhari's work, I would recommend her to everyone, hands down! Adhari, not only stayed longer than she was contracted to, she followed me outdoors in the heat to constantly fix my makeup when sweat would ruin it because it was one of the MOST humid days of the entire summer. I like my makeup natural and she totally got that and made me look not only natural but amazing. I wish I could afford her everyday because when she does my makeup I feel like a model.

Gloss & Shadow is my makeup artist of choice. Whenever I have a big event, I call Adhari first. She's great with contouring and making you look fabulous for your event. You can be confident that you will look red carpet ready and beautiful. I don't know what I'd do without her. Book her! You won't regret it.

Adhari is AAAMMAAZZING!!!! She has done my makeup for a few occasions and I look fabulous each and every time!! I just show her what I'm wearing and let her work her magic. That's how much I trust her creativity and work!!
She is prompt with replying to emails and phone calls. Arrived and finished on time with out anyone feeling rushed. We had a great time conversing with her. She had TONS of makeup and everything was clean and organized!! Hands down would recommend her to friends and family (which I have and they are all just as satisfied) Can't wait for another event to get my makeup done!! Love her and her work!!

Adhari is without a doubt the best make-up person I've ever met. I am a person who does not wear a lot make-up, I had my make-up done elsewhere prior to my trial with Adhari. It was caked so heavy on my face I looked horrible so I was nervous. When she did my make-up it looked natural and I looked beautiful! I booked her immediately without having any other trials! On my wedding day, she arrived extra early to set up. She was so professional and managed to get everyone done in perfect time (even with some of my girls running late.) All my bridesmaids and my mom looked gorgeous and I could not have been happier!
I loved her so much, I used her again after my wedding day and will use her again when I need to.

I would hands down recommend Adhari Edwards and Gloss and Shadow for anyone who needs make-up services. I have never had my make-up done professionally (except at one of those make-up and hair birthday parties when I was like ten years old) and the experience was great. I was a little nervous because I do not wear a lot of make-up on a day to day basis, usually just some powder and a little eyeshadow and lipstick, so getting my whole face done with eyelashes and the whole nine yards was a little nerve racking.

I showed Adhari a few pictures, and told her I wanted a more understated look, but definitely enough make-up to hold up to being photographed, and she nailed it! During the trial I made some suggestions for the eyelashes and eye shadow and she made the slight changes and I loved my make-up. My mother and one of my bridesmaids also got their make-up done and they loved it as well. I got so many compliments from guests at my wedding saying that my make-up was done beautifully, but that I still looked like myself even though I don't wear a lot of make-up usually. She nailed it and the make-up lasted beautifully all night even though I was a sweaty mess from dancing all night.

Adhari is professional and such a nice person. I found out my wedding venue was the same as hers so we had a lot to talk about. But most of all her make-up is fabulous and lasts! I would definitely recommend her services and will definitely contact her the next time I need my make-up done!

Adhari Edwards, hands down, is the best makeup artist anyone can have on their wedding day. My wedding was in the Long Beach Island area and she traveled to my location. She even traveled for my convenience to a central location for my makeup trial! She is beyond accommodating! Adhari and her assistant Grace were punctual and stayed on time throughout makeup applications on 13 people!! We all know how important a time table is for the wedding day. She did not short-change anyone with their time in the chair however. Every single one of my girls looked amazing! She brought out the beauty in them all. They all became glamorous versions of themselves. They loved how they looked! I have been a bridesmaid numerous times and have suffered through horrible makeup applications. Believe me, you and your girls will love the way you look! As far as my makeup, I was so very, very happy. Beyond the moon happy! I felt so gorgeous and glamorous. She made me look like a model in a magazine! I felt so very beautiful! My fiance', now husband, was concerned that I was not going to look like myself. Well, I have to happily say, when he saw me for the first time, he had tears of happiness in his eyes. He told me I was so beautiful and that he loved that I still looked like myself and Adhari had brought out all my best features. Plus, the best part is that the makeup lasted ALL DAY! I didn't got to bed until 4:30am that night and the makeup was still on! I was able to save the eyelashes and had fabulous eyes for my brunch the next morning! I got so many compliments on my makeup! My only regret is that I can't have Adhari do my makeup everyday!! You can tell that Adhari Edwards loves what she does because it comes out in her work. You can not go wrong if you hire her for your wedding! She will make you look like you have always dreamed. I know because she did it for me!

I was recommended to Adhari from my sister who was a bridesmaid of a friend and had her makeup done by her. My sister loved the makeup so much that she said that I needed to hire her for my wedding; and she was right. Adhari is so amazingly talented. My makeup was flawless and made me look gorgeous throughout my wedding night. I usually worry that my makeup would run off and look oily (since I have oily skin) but that wasn’t the case here. My skin was flawless! She was also very punctual (a plus!) and very professional. She made me feel calm before my ceremony. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family for our next event. She is a QUALITY makeup artist.
