Juanita and her team worked on myself, my mom, and most of my bridesmaids for hair and makeup. Louie did my hair and makeup for both our Hindu and Catholic ceremony events, while other members of the team did hair and makeup for my family and bridal party. I was so happy with how it all turned out!! I was looking for someone with experience with South Asian skin tones, and to execute a natural but slightly elevated look. Louie did such an amazing job with everything - she understood my vision, and also gave suggestions and recommendations to help achieve the look I wanted. Louie’s energy was so great to be around, especially considering the early mornings for both wedding events. From when I met her at my trial, I knew she would bring great energy to work with and be around - she made getting ready in the mornings stress-free and fun. In terms of planning and preparing for the events, the team was helpful, responsive, and very flexible. I would definitely recommend Louie and the team to others!

I loved my makeup and hair by Natalia. She was right on time and brought such great energy. She made me feel comfortable too. The makeup look was great and exactly what I wanted, and same with the hair! It felt like my own face but just elevated. She also helped me pin the dupatta on to my lehenga which was so helpful. I would definitely recommend her for any event!

I was looking for a team that has experience with dusky South Asian skin type. I saw Glamorous by Juanita’s previous work and was interested in their team. It is also worth mentioning that I had ~40 days to plan my wedding so it was very short notice. But Juanita’s team was very responsive and asked for inspiration pictures for hair and makeup. They made me feel very comfortable and always responded quickly. After booking them, I wanted a makeup and hair trial which was also arranged in such short notice. My makeup artist was Louie who was absolutely a delight to work with. She understood my desired looks for the ceremony and reception, and matched the foundation exactly how I wanted (which I am super thankful for and received a lot of compliments). I felt and looked my best for both my ceremony and reception.

Juanita’s team also did makeup and hair for my mom and mother in law. Both of them were getting their makeup and hair done professionally for the first time. We all loved their looks and both the moms felt very comfortable throughout.
