The Glacier Club is no longer booking weddings for 2023

Ideally located in the picturesque San Juan Mountains of Durango, Colorado, Glacier Club is a versatile wedding venue. Boasting a choice of two contemporary clubhouses, this lovely location allows soon-to-be-weds to design their dream day. The experienced events team at the venue will be on hand from beginning to end to help ensure that every detail is accounted for. Both indoor and outdoor event spaces are available, offering couples the best of both worlds.

Facilities and Capacity

Glacier Club features a combination of beautifully manicured outdoor areas such as the golf course and unrefined natural surroundings. Scenic woodlands and breathtaking mountains offer an inspiring and untamed backdrop for memorable celebrations. Both of the venue's contemporary clubhouses boast luxurious furnishings and upscale decor. Each accommodating a maximum of 160 guests, couples can choose the space that best aligns with their vision. The Valley Clubhouse is available all year round for special occasions. Soon-to-be-weds can plan a beautiful ceremony on the spacious helipad, gazing over the inimitable San Juan Mountains. For the cocktail hour, an outdoor patio and lawn area adjoins to the main ballroom. This capacious setting features a tent for protection from the elements, and yard games can be arranged to keep loved ones entertained. Inside the clubhouse, the Prospector Hall provides a flexible space for couples to bring their visions to life. Alternatively, soon-to-be-weds may opt to hold their milestone celebrations at the Mountain Clubhouse. Available from January to May and September to November, this lovely location is suitable for more intimate ceremonies. The happy couple can exchange vows in the VIP Tee Box with up to 20 loved ones. Additional guests will be able to watch from the clubhouse balcony. For the cocktail hour and reception, couples can take advantage of a cozy fire pit outside and fireplace inside. There is also a chic built-in bar and plenty of room for a band or DJ.

Services Offered

The experienced wedding and events team at this luxury location can take care of catering and bar services, streamlining the planning process for couples. They also have a range of rental items available to help encourage a seamless celebration. This includes banquet furniture, linens, tableware, a tent, and a dance floor. Both open and cash bars are possible, and the team can serve a variety of refreshments, such as specialty beer, signature cocktails, and wine. For the main meal, both buffet and seated dinners are possible. The team is happy to organize a tasting to help couples decide on their wedding menus. Setup and cleanup are provided by staff at The Glacier, allowing the newlyweds to enjoy their special day with peace of mind.
