The venue itself was perfect but the staff were also incredibly accommodating to our parties needs. Planner Kayla and the rest of the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference center staff were so wonderful to work with. Kayla was extremely organized and asked all the right questions to keep me on top of planning. For the rehearsal and ceremony day of, Kayla went above and beyond in making sure everything went smoothly. Our chef was wonderful and dinner and apps were delicious. Everyone was very impressed and definitely going back for seconds. Incredible experience.

This venue was everything that I had envisioned for my wedding! It was very spacious and could comfortably hold the amount of guests that we had for the wedding. The food was AMAZING, and everyone had nothing but compliments! Katelyn and Shannon made the organizing/planning portion of the wedding so incredibly easy for me and they were both very helpful, they both went above and beyond to make the wedding everything we've ever wanted!
This all being said, I was a little disappointed with a few things. Their new event coordinator Kipp was a little over the top for me. We were not allowed to bring in any of our own alcohol, which is fine! On the night before the wedding, we were able to decorate, which was very cool of them and took a lot of stress off of me! Anyway, some of my family members brought in alcohol (one beer that they all carried in, and a bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy's), without asking and without me knowing. Kipp was very rude about it and did not care that they did not know the "rule". Once he said something about it, the alcohol was gone, and actually so were my family members, since it was the end of the night (midnight). Then comes the next day, the wedding day. We had the ceremony and then the shuttle took us around the Dells for pictures. The shuttle driver stopped at a gas station for us to get some drinks. We did not drink them all on the HOUR shuttle ride/picture session. So we brought the left over drinks into the "get ready room", to respect their wishes of not consuming or bringing in our own alcohol to the wedding. Obviously the wedding day is busy, and no one had time to run the drinks to their room before the family pictures. Right when we got back from the traveling pictures, we had the big group family pictures. Within that 40-45 minute window, Kipp and his crew went into the get ready room and dug through our bags and purses and took the few alcoholic drinks that we had in there. This is very INVASIVE and crossed the line. It is not okay to go through peoples bags/purses! I just can't believe that the 6 leftover beers were that big of a deal for him to think this was okay. Especially since we just spent a HUGE chunk of money on this wedding and didn't even blink an eye when more money ($2500) was needed to be added the day of for the bar (this was on top of what was already paid to them for the bar). Kip also kept coming up to me on the wedding day with questions/statements, when it was clearly stated on all of the paperwork to contact my parents with any questions or information. Why would the bride or groom want to deal with anything extra on our wedding day??
It was very nice that they included the honeymoon suite for us at no charge on the night of the wedding, but it was inconvenient to have to call a shuttle at 12:30am after our wedding and get back to the main hotel. And then the bed was dirty, there were red spots all over under the pillows and on the backs of the pillows. We ended up sleeping on the couch on our wedding night.... (and my husband slept on the couch the night before as well since we paid to have that room the night before too).

We had our wedding and reception at the Wild Rock Golf Course and Golf Club. We were scheduled to have our rehearsal on Thursday at 5pm, we were getting married Friday. The event coordinator at the Wilderness sent me an email stating, she was unable to be at the rehearsal but someone else would be able to meet us at 4:30pm to answer any questions we might have or we could reschedule for Friday morning. After the ceremony we took pictures. The event coordinator told us we needed to, "hurry up" because there was a rehearsal after our ceremony. Whenever we reached out to her, it would take a couple of days for her to get back to us. The Wild Rock Golf Course and Clubhouse are a beautiful place to get married but the event coordinator, I was not impressed with.
