The venue itself was perfect but the staff were also incredibly accommodating to our parties needs. Planner Kayla and the rest of the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference center staff were so wonderful to work with. Kayla was extremely organized and asked all the right questions to keep me on top of planning. For the rehearsal and ceremony day of, Kayla went above and beyond in making sure everything went smoothly. Our chef was wonderful and dinner and apps were delicious. Everyone was very impressed and definitely going back for seconds. Incredible experience.

Loved the venue. Food was delicious. Everyone complimented it. Staff was responsive and helpful. So pleased with everything.

My husband and I had our wedding in the Wilderness Ballroom in the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in October of 2015. We could not have been more happy with our choice to pick this venue! Our planner, Jenny, was absolutely amazing and able to accommodate our needs throughout the entire process. She made several things "happen" for us that they had never done before, and she has a close relationship with TONS of local vendors, which is also a plus! She made the wedding planning process smooth as can be, and I had 100% trust in her all the way through our wedding day. She always followed up with emails & phone calls, and went above and beyond what we expected. The facility is immaculate, and it is a magnificent place for weddings with a lot of traveling family. Our ceremony was outdoors, and the scenery was breathtaking. We would highly recommend this venue for couples looking around! :) The building is so beautiful, it made for some amazing wedding photos.

Our ceremony and reception was held at the Glacier Canyon Lodge and it was amazing. First, it was super convenient because our guests didn't have to travel from the ceremony to the reception, it was all in one place. The patio out back where the ceremony is held is beautiful, and I loved our reception hall (the Wilderness Ballroom). The high ceilings inside make it feel very spacious. We had 200 guests and there was plenty of room to walk around, and dance! One of the nicest things, I thought, was that they put your block of hotel rooms right down the hallway from the Conference Center, so it was a 30 second walk from our hotel room to the wedding. Super convenient. The bridal suite to get ready in the morning of is also very big. Jenny and her staff did a great job at helping us out and were very accommodating to anything that came up. We also had a lot of compliments from our guests about the entire wedding. Overall, our wedding ran perfectly and I couldn't have been happier with any other venue.

My now husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Wild Rock Clubhouse located on the Wilderness Resort property. It was absolutely beautiful and we had so many compliments about the venue! The whole process was smooth and the staff is wonderful. Yuliya was our wedding coordinator and she is fantastic!!! She always responded to emails quickly and had many great suggestions when I needed help with something. I would highly recommend the Wild Rock Clubhouse as a wedding venue if you are looking for a beautiful and rustic, yet elegant wedding!

We had our wedding at the Wild Rock Golf Course and the reception at the Wild Rock Clubhouse. It was absolutely perfect and we could not be happier with the event, the staff or the process leading up to the day. Highly recommend this location for any celebration, especially a wedding.

Great location and professional staff

Glacier Canyon Lodge was a wonderful place to get married. Jen was extremely helpful and responsive from our first tour through all of my emails while frantically planning and during the day itself! We received so many compliments about the venue, service and food! Everything went so smoothly I could not have asked for better. Also, the ceremony location outside is beautiful and a great background for pictures. A big bonus was having the room block right down the hall which was very convenient for our guests. I would highly recommend!

Jennifer & elli at the wilderness were amazing to work with! They made my wedding day awesome and I were extremely helpful and always answered all my questions very fast!!! Also loved the wilderness & had a great time at the resort for my wedding!!!!

Great food, great service, very accomodating.

The Wilderness did a great job with everything for my wedding. We had our ceremony on the patio and they provided all of the chairs. They were quick to change anything that I didn't like....it was perfect!

My wedding fell on a weekend of natural disasters. We had 2 Tornado's and enough rain to empty out a lake. And it did. We had to be evacuated twice once before the ceremony and once in the middle of dinner. The Wilderness's staff was so remorseful and did everything to make our day the best it could be regardless of some nasty weather. I do not think anyone could have handled it that well and still keep smiles on peoples faces. I truly believe that if I had to do it over again I would not have changed a thing. They Were Amazing!!!!

Our top priorities for the wedding were: good food, good DJ to keep everyone dancing all night and to keep the beverages flowing. As everyone was from out of town, and quite a few out of state, this really made for the great weekend getaway we wanted our guests to enjoy, and judging by how full the dance floor was at the end of the night - they certainly did!

We worked primarily with Jennifer up until the wedding ceremony, and were so very pleased with our entire experience! She was so helpful and patient every time I had a list of questions, despite the fact that she probably gets the same things all. the. time. Her responses were always pretty prompt, no communication issues at all.

For the rehearsal and during the wedding dinner/reception, there were others around helping to make sure everything ran smooth (Jennifer wasn't because there were several other weddings there the same weekend as ours.) Between our DJ (Jukebox DJ's - great!) and the catering staff, I felt that things went on schedule as they needed to, if they had a ? or wine/beer was getting low, they let us know, but otherwise, they just took care of things and we were free to just enjoy the night!

Loved having the room to get ready in day of! It was a nice room and worked great to have hair/makeup right there. TIP: Go with the popcorn machine for a late night snack; it was a hit!

While the food and beverage costs were more that we would have preferred going into the wedding process, the food especially was well received by our guests (huge serving for the chicken!) and the final bill was in line or a tad under what we were bracing for. Jennifer and staff were VERY flexible in accommodating our preferences, even day of for something like switching out the tablecloths on the bar tables.

Very pleased, and love the fact that we can come back to stay here and someday with our kids, and have great memories of the town and the Wilderness.

We had our wedding at the Wilderness (Wild Rock Golf Club) and we’re glad we did. The venue was great; it was so nice to have the ceremony site and reception site at the same place. We worked with Yulia, who was so sweet and helpful when answering my many questions via email. The catering staff and bartenders did a great job. They provided the arch and chairs, and even put some water outside for our guests (it was super hot when we got married). Overall, if we had to do it over again we would definitely still have had our wedding there, no doubts about it.

Wedding planners were really helpful but the day of, the wrong color arch was used. Only other complaint is how they handled billing. They had forgotten to put some alcohol on our final bill (line item was there but they forgot to add the cost in the total) and without informing us of the mistake, charged our card the difference, which forced us to track them down to find out what the charges were for. When we questioned it, they accused us of trying to get something for free. Not a good way to handle business when we are spending a lot of money there for their services. Also tried to charge my husband more for a room the night before the wedding than they charged me (we each got a room for our side of the wedding party). Not sure why the difference, but they did agree to refund the difference after we brought it to their attention. If you consider this venue, make sure you check every single charge and get all items agreed to in writing. The contract is built in a way that they can bill you any time for any amount, so be careful there.

Shannon and her staff did a wonderful job, I have used this place for work meetings and conventions as well. The building/convention center was recently built before my big day not even a year old, I visited the place right before there 1st wedding was to take place. The decor is wonderful and inviting and very romantic and rich looking along with the feel of home so to speak. Out wedding was in Oct. and I've always wanted an outdoor wedding so they did the whole thing right there. The reception area walked out onto a beautiful patio and then open grassy area that over looked the canyon and amazing fall colors. The only thing I was worried about is the weather and they assured me if it were to rain they'd have the other banquet room set up for the ceremony. It so turned out that it was 87 degrees that day!!! It was amazing with cocktail hour and snacks before the meal. I had the best Salmon and other entrees that people commented on up until this day. It was a wonderful experience and she is wonderful at her job.
Sincerely and highly recommend her services as well as the place itself. Lodge is brand new, has everything and anything you could think of from a day spa to nightlife, waterparks and the most amazing rooms. It's a must see for your special day or honeymoon.

Not super cheap, but worth knowing you have to only pay one place for the ceremony and reception

They were responsive, their price was fantastic, lovely rustic, but not-too-rustic feel. There was some confusion over a few things, but I think the person handling our wedding was new and that's where much of it stemmed from. We started with one consultant and got moved to someone else. (I think the previous one either left or was promoted possibly?) But the venue was BEAUTIFUL with little effort from my crew needed and the food was fantastic. Special mention to the bartender who was a big hit with all of our guests!!! We were able to plug in our tablet and play music through the venue that way, so no need for a DJ. And they actually gave us a discount on the cabin we rented because it was a bridal party staying there. The biggest complaint is no about the wedding, but the water-park in the resort and how one of the head lifeguards treated my husband when he was injured one one of their water-slides because a child and boogie board were stuck in the slide!!! He was unbelievably rude, refused to even tell us where to get an ice pack, and even yelled at my injured husband and myself for asking for such a thing (his hand was hit and already pretty swollen) when they were in the wrong. There are two lifeguards on each end of the slide and for some reason when the child came down the slide late without the boogie board everyone is supposed to have they still told my husband to go down. I sincerely hope that person loses their job (something I've never felt before) because with anger issues like that they should not be manager of anything, nor work with people. I only gave them two stars off for Professionalism, because that had more to do with our Honey Moon than wedding and they are in a separate department from the people handling our wedding, all of whom were wonderful.

Wedding was great. Depending on what you wanted could be expensive. But overall a great place. Jennifer was excellent to work with.

This venue was everything that I had envisioned for my wedding! It was very spacious and could comfortably hold the amount of guests that we had for the wedding. The food was AMAZING, and everyone had nothing but compliments! Katelyn and Shannon made the organizing/planning portion of the wedding so incredibly easy for me and they were both very helpful, they both went above and beyond to make the wedding everything we've ever wanted!
This all being said, I was a little disappointed with a few things. Their new event coordinator Kipp was a little over the top for me. We were not allowed to bring in any of our own alcohol, which is fine! On the night before the wedding, we were able to decorate, which was very cool of them and took a lot of stress off of me! Anyway, some of my family members brought in alcohol (one beer that they all carried in, and a bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy's), without asking and without me knowing. Kipp was very rude about it and did not care that they did not know the "rule". Once he said something about it, the alcohol was gone, and actually so were my family members, since it was the end of the night (midnight). Then comes the next day, the wedding day. We had the ceremony and then the shuttle took us around the Dells for pictures. The shuttle driver stopped at a gas station for us to get some drinks. We did not drink them all on the HOUR shuttle ride/picture session. So we brought the left over drinks into the "get ready room", to respect their wishes of not consuming or bringing in our own alcohol to the wedding. Obviously the wedding day is busy, and no one had time to run the drinks to their room before the family pictures. Right when we got back from the traveling pictures, we had the big group family pictures. Within that 40-45 minute window, Kipp and his crew went into the get ready room and dug through our bags and purses and took the few alcoholic drinks that we had in there. This is very INVASIVE and crossed the line. It is not okay to go through peoples bags/purses! I just can't believe that the 6 leftover beers were that big of a deal for him to think this was okay. Especially since we just spent a HUGE chunk of money on this wedding and didn't even blink an eye when more money ($2500) was needed to be added the day of for the bar (this was on top of what was already paid to them for the bar). Kip also kept coming up to me on the wedding day with questions/statements, when it was clearly stated on all of the paperwork to contact my parents with any questions or information. Why would the bride or groom want to deal with anything extra on our wedding day??
It was very nice that they included the honeymoon suite for us at no charge on the night of the wedding, but it was inconvenient to have to call a shuttle at 12:30am after our wedding and get back to the main hotel. And then the bed was dirty, there were red spots all over under the pillows and on the backs of the pillows. We ended up sleeping on the couch on our wedding night.... (and my husband slept on the couch the night before as well since we paid to have that room the night before too).

We had our wedding and reception at the Wild Rock Golf Course and Golf Club. We were scheduled to have our rehearsal on Thursday at 5pm, we were getting married Friday. The event coordinator at the Wilderness sent me an email stating, she was unable to be at the rehearsal but someone else would be able to meet us at 4:30pm to answer any questions we might have or we could reschedule for Friday morning. After the ceremony we took pictures. The event coordinator told us we needed to, "hurry up" because there was a rehearsal after our ceremony. Whenever we reached out to her, it would take a couple of days for her to get back to us. The Wild Rock Golf Course and Clubhouse are a beautiful place to get married but the event coordinator, I was not impressed with.

I was very disappointed with our experience. We were from out of state, and we booked the venue without seeing it. I take responsibility for that, because if I had seen it in person, we never would have booked it. The golf course and bar area were very nice, but the indoor ceremony had to be held in the banquet room. The only place for me (the bride) to wait was similar to a closet. There was no space to get ready or any sort of bridal room. There also wasn't really an aisle. We had to walk in at an angle around a post that was right in the center. The reception was fine, except there was an issue with pop. We paid a per person charge for pop for all of our guests. However, they only served iced tea and milk during the meal. I was very upset and addressed it with the server. She talked to her manager, etc. By the time it was all hashed out, almost all of our guests had finished eating without being offered pop. They eventually refunded us for the cost. I could care less about the money. It was terrible customer service!

Planning our wedding at Glacier Canyon lodge was an extremely frustrating experience. Although we were very satisfied with the catering & staff the actual night of our reception, the struggles with housekeeping/customer service would not lead us to recommend this venue.
Most of our frustrations lie with the Coordinator & housekeeping staff - We were living out of state, most of our planning and interactions were done via phone/email. multiple days for responses to phone calls and questions we outlined in our emails were rarely answered fully and promptly. specific requests were promised the entire way through the prcoess and then were not honored on the day of. Many details were 'lost' in the communications process. there was a ton of un needed stress.

Hotel Rooms
Groom had stayed the night before. We returned to a room that had no housekeeping service, the bed was unmade, there were wet towels on the floor & the iron & board in the middle of the room where the groom had left them. Someone had come into the room with champagne & glasses for us. Yet no housekeeping at all had been performed on the room. We were absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service. We had just spent $$$ & we didn’t even have a clean room to come back to. There is no way that the person who came in with the champagne didn’t notice this room was messy. There is no excuse for this. It was our WEDDING NIGHT!! After we complained that night & again the next morning we received an email that said ‘we hope this wasn’t an inconvenience to you’ offering a ‘free’ one night stay as an apology. We never received any sort of gift certificate for our ‘free one night stay’.
