As a wedding planner, I only recommend the best vendors for my brides. Gimme Some Sugar is on the top of my list. The cakes are not only beautiful but delicious. Stephanie and her GSS crew are fun, creative and always willing to help a bride come up with her own unique designs. I highly recommend GSS for your wedding or any event where you want some delicious sweets.

We were SO happy we trusted Gimmee Some Sugar with our wedding cake, everything was absolutely PERFECT. The person that helped us design our cake was super skilled, knowledgeable, and kind. He ensured me that everything would be exactly how we want it and made super helpful suggestions. I went back before the wedding to ensure that everything was still according to plan and he remembered the cake without even having to pull up the form we drafted. He assured me that everything would be handled as requested. The day of the wedding? My FLAWLESS and DELICIOUS cake arrived on time and was set up, just as requested. I am so thrilled we used Stephanie and her team for our big day. My husband LOVES cake (this was his most important part) and he was blown away by how good the cake tasted. People asked us numerous times after the wedding where we got our cake (assuming we had went with a trendy LA bakery and had it brought up)... NOPE! We got it here in Bakersfield and have continued to refer people to them. If you want a delicious cake that looks just like you dreamed with NO stress then you should come HERE! Take our advice because unfortunately we went to other places first and left stressed, frustrated and dissatisfied with personnel.. Not to mention their cakes did not compare! We only get our cakes from here now!!

From the first time you discuss your cake with her, all the way through the reception, her perfectionism and unmatched talent shine. You meet for a tasting, where she gives you samples of cakes, fillings, and frostings, and she hand draws exactly what you picture your perfect cake to be! She has a truly artistic immagination, and will help you in your design process...and let me tell you...you can trust her judgement!! I would VERY highly recommend "Chef Stef" for anyone who is looking to have the perfect wedding cake that tastes amazing too!! She's located in Bakersfield...downtown at 19th and D. Go meet her and talk to her and her team for all your cake needs. She puts "Ace of Cakes" to shame!! She does birthdays, anniversarys, baby showers, you name it! She also has the most amazing cupcakes you'll ever eat! She did a cake for one of my showers, and gorgeous cupcakes for another...not to mention the most gorgeous wedding cake you'll ever see! You won't be disappointed!!
