Gilson's Inc. has been creating elegant gifts of distinction since 1974 when our founder, Tony Gilson, opened his first store in Downtown Cincinnati. A master hand engraver trained in Birmingham, England, Tony chose pewter as the company's primary product line and christened his store The Pewter Place Engravery. Tony also added machine engraving, and soon expanded his vision of delivering gifts and awards that include high quality sterling silver as well as corporate gifts and plaques of hand finished walnut and brass.
