We hired Mike + Charity (Gilly + the Girl) to play at our brunch wedding reception in Gainesville, FL. Being a brunch, we were looking for a very specific feel - we wanted someone who could fill the space with wonderful music but also in a way which allowed our guests to mingle and enjoy their brunch. THEY NAILED IT! We met with them a few times to talk through the day, what kind of music we liked or didn't. They took the time to learn our wedding song and even consulted with us about the music (playlist) they played during their breaks. We had several guests comment to us about how wonderful they were. My (now) husband and his kids are all musicians and our music selection was super important to them. We were beyond pleased with them and we can't wait to see them play again locally - this time when we can sit undisturbed and enjoy them.

Gilly and the girl are both so amazing and talented. They are very professional, they make every event so enjoyable and fun! They offer an incredible variety of song choices for every occasion from soft quiet dinner music, to upbeat music, to sing along and dance music. They sing beautiful harmonies together. Gilly in the girl are by far our favorite musical duo! We recently hired them to play at our house for a neighborhood party, everyone loved them and thanked us for showcasing them. We received so many wonderful compliments about them from all of our friends. We love Gilly and The Girl and you will too!

Charity and Mike were a joy to work with throughout the entire process! They provided us with an extensive list of songs to choose from to be performed during the ceremony as well as the reception, but they also were open to learning special requests. We gave them some freedom with putting together the setlist for our cocktail hour and their choices were perfect for our tastes and the atmosphere-- which is a testament to their range and professionalism.

They were very flexible on the day of the wedding when bad weather led to quick changes having to be made with their set-up (which they provided) from outdoor to indoor.

Both Charity and Mike have incredible voices that fit so many different genres and have great sense of humor and stage presence, so they are not only pleasant to listen to but also engaging and entertaining to watch. We received nothing but praise on their behalf from our guests, many of whom asked if they had recorded music they could listen to (which they do on Spotify, iTunes, etc.)!

They do everything with so much integrity and heart which is noticeable to everyone and really makes them an extra special part of the celebration!
