We had a last-minute, small wedding in Yakima (due to a family member's terminal illness). As you can imagine, planning a second wedding (a few months. before our celebration in Denver), on a tight timeline halfway across the country, was beyond stressful!

Lucky for us, we selected Gilbert as our venue. Their tasting room was cozy, their grounds were gorgeous, and their team was so kind. We couldn't recommend them more.

Hands down one of the best wedding venues in Central Washington. This place is barely 10 minutes outside of Yakima but feels like it's in remote wine country (which for transport, hotels, setup, etc. how can you beat that?) We loved how unique Gilbert Cellars Winery was in comparison to other venues in the area. When you rent the venue, you have access to multiple event spaces (amphitheater, lawn, cellar patio, big rustic indoor spaces) so you can truly customize it to fit your wedding/event dreams! The vineyards, lavender fields, big wine barrels, and built-in rustic touches were gorgeous without needing much decorative effort from us. Another bonus- these people make great wine!

I wouldn't have wanted to have my wedding anywhere else. Gilbert Cellars Winery is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I had our wedding here on July 8th, 2017. The lavender fields were in full bloom at this time, which made a great backdrop for our first look and pictures. We worked with Via Paxton at Gilbert Cellars Winery- She was extremely helpful, responsive, and worked with our schedule as much as she could. One thing I loved about Gilbert Cellars Winery is that we were able to choose from 3 different location to have our ceremony (lawn, cave/patio, amphitheater). My husband and I decided to do our ceremony on the lawn. It was perfect!! Gilbert Cellars Winery goes above and beyond :)

There is not a more beautiful place in Yakima, WA to have your wedding! So many different backrounds for photo opportunities, different options for ceremony/reception seating, and the staff is just wonderful! Their prices were affordable and we were able to change our numbers when a flood of RSVP's came in!! We are in love with Gilbert Cellars and recommend them to anyone!!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at Gilbert Cellars Hackett Ranch this past September. From the gorgeous scenery to the top notch service, we could not have been happier with this venue. What an amazing place! Each detail was handled smoothly and professionally. We were so sad when it was over and hope to celebrate our anniversary at the ranch in years to come.

Verify the occupancy of the building before you book. We had a last minute change but Jessica did a great job accommodating and I am sure it has been adjusted since then. Over all the best venue in Yakima.

Overall this venue was beautiful and just what I envisioned for our big day! Between the amphitheater overlooking the pond, blooming lavender, and grassy areas by the Quonset hut it was wonderful! Via Paxton was helpful and organized.

The only negative to this venue was the many hoops we felt we had to jump through. There were quite a few permits to gather and their contract is quite strict. They only allow 8 hours to use the venue on your wedding day. These 8 hours INCLUDE set up and tear down. If you want extra time on that day you had to pay a pricey amount of money per hour to get more time. It added a lot of extra stress to figure out all the little details and pre prep to make sure things would be ready and done in time. Thankfully we had a lot of family and friends that volunteered to come help our coordinator set up! Our day turned out wonderful though and we loved every minute of it! Our guests raved about the wonderful location.
