Dona M. DeFranco, owner and founder of Ger'don Cosmetics and Skincare, est. 1979, is currently working freelance as a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician and is very much familiar with all phases of and aspects of beauty. Lisa M DeFranco, owner and the daughter of Dona is also working freelance as a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician.

She is a graduate of Roman Academy for beauty and John Robert Powers for fashion and etiquette. Dona is also a member of the ABC Association of Bridal Consultants. She has worked with many New York and New Jersey Photographers and Videographers in Developing just the right look for weddings, fashion shows, beauty pageants and photo shoots. She has developed a self teaching method where she will train models and aspiring actresses or one self to apply their own make up in front of a camera or just for every day. In her seminar, she offers pamphlets and information on nutrition, skin care, hair care and style, clothing and make up as well as how to carry oneself with grace and charm.

Dona DeFranco graduated from Parisian Beauty Academy for teaching and received her certification from Kean College. Lisa DeFranco studied at Parisian Beauty Academy of Cosmetology. She is a Master Makeup Artist and esthetician. Their training philosophy includes the concept that beauty is not just on the outside; it must be projected from within oneself. Also, specializing in grooming both men and women for the "total look" in all aspects of beauty and health. This belief is what led them to become active in the "Look Good.... Feel Better" program, offered by the American Cancer Society, through several area hospitals, where hair style and make-up techniques are utilized in order to make cancer patients feel good about themselves.
