We used the showboat for our wedding. We used Heritage Hall, which seats about 80. Other rooms are bigger if needed. The room is gorgeous and very luxurious looking, with reds and golds. The staff on the boat were amazingly accommodating and perfect at their jobs. Helped us if they saw we needed it, flexible, and the invisible staff factor that you want during dinner, but charming and professional when interacting with my family. The paddleboat was fun to use, enjoyable, and a different sort of venue. Everyone enjoyed it. The bar was great and we got comments from the whole party that the food was AMAZING. It really was, especially for the price. I have never had better fish. The only complaint was with the coordinator herself. She was always very nice, but she never got back to me or she would disappear for weeks. Not checking in. That would have been enough for me to want to cancel, except for the fact that we had put down the deposit and it was a last minute date (people and their deployments...). I mean, after you put down a $1000 deposit on room and food, you want a confirmation, right? And I had to seek her out to give my final head count for dinner, which seems backwards. At least be in touch once a month, and for goodness sake, try to respond to my email if I'm trying to get a hold of you. Just "forgetting to call you back" should only fly once, maybe.
