Nelson's Green Brier Distillery

Nelson's Green Brier Distillery is a family-owned business in Nashville, Tennessee, welcoming couples from all backgrounds to celebrate their wedding day in the Volunteer State. As fate would have it, one day in 2006, two brothers, Andy and Charlie Nelson, stumbled across a bottle of whiskey with their family name adorned on the front. It turned out that their great-great-great-grandfather was a local brewer many moons ago. At that moment, Andy and Charlie dedicated their lives to resurrecting their ancestor's Nelson's Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey. Not only have they achieved their goal, but their distillery is now a proud landmark, gorgeous restaurant, and wedding destination that makes dreams come true.

Facilities and Capacity

There are two large wedding venues at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery: the Coopers Club and Whiskey Garden, and the Oak Room. The former is tucked away in the distillery's interior, illuminated by a skylight and decorated with whimsical garden greenery. It can accommodate up to 125 reception-style and 50 for seated affairs. The Oak Room is the larger of the two spaces and is the most multifunctional location that Nelson's offers. Capacity at the Oak Room is 200 for a reception-style wedding, 120 seated, and it features a bar and a stage with full A/V and theater lighting. Alternatively, newlyweds can book out the entire venue for their special day, with exclusive access throughout, from the restaurant to the gift shop. A full buyout raises the number of potential attendees to anywhere from 550 to 660.

The culinary team at the restaurant will work with each couple to design a mouthwatering menu that their guests will fall head over heels for.
